Original A-Team cast 'howling mad' over June 11 movie remake

Apparently some of the original cast members of the A-Team television show didn't like the plan that came together for the big-budget Hollywood movie.
Dirk Benedict, who played Templeton Peck on the 1980's TV show, did an about "Face" after his cameo appearance in the upcoming remake, which according to him did nothing to honor his memory.
From The Sunday Express:
"If you blink, you’ll miss me. I kind of regret doing it because it’s a non-part. They wanted to be able to say ‘Oh yeah, the original cast are in it’ but we’re not. I’m on for a mere three seconds and I find that kind of insulting."
Dwight "Murdoch" Shultz also had a bit part , but refused to comment on his appearance or the movie -- probably because Lawrence "Mr. T" Tero had enough to say for both of them.
"People die in the film and there’s plenty of sex but when we did it no one got hurt and it was all played for fun and family entertainment. These seem to be elements nobody is interested in any more. It was too graphic for me. I’ve no doubt it will do big business at the box office but it’s nothing like the show we turned out every week. We ran on TV for five years without having to sex-up the show. You can’t get away with that these days."
Mixed martial arts star Quinton "Rampage" Jackson took over for Mr. T in the role of B.A. Baracus and recently returned to the Octagon after more than a year out of action. "Rampage" dropped a unanimous decision to bitter rival Rashad Evans at UFC 114 upon his return.
A-Team opens June 11.

I gotta admit, some girls aren’t as photogenic, who look much better in person or in motion/video. There’s a liveliness and a vitality to the nature of their physical reality, there subtle facial characteristics, which the static nature of a photo can’t process.

I put her in the same hot category as Kirsten Dunst and . . . I can’t think of anyone else—okay, so it’s a category of two—but it’s a good category. Fair enough, they’re not on the same level as Catherine Zeta Jones, but why state the obvious to make a comparison? Everyone knows CZJ is way hotter than Biel. The Cuthbert comparison was making it closer to even—even though Cuthbert is much hotter than Biel.

Regarding the old cast complaining: how is it insulting? What did he expect, to play his old character? That’s what a cameo in these remakes usually is, just to stuff you in there so people can see you.

If you created something that everyone loved, would you like someone to alter the image you created? Personally, I don’t care about the movie, but I see why they’d be so upset. They just want it to be an accurate reflection of their series, not a butchered mutant version.

I was a huge fan of the TV show and watched it every day after school along with Knight Rider, and I am looking forward to the movie as it looks well cast and tons of fun.

Remakes and Actors.
I think these actors need to really get a grip. It is not like they created the characters. Yeah Hollywood is running out of ideas, yeah there will be more and more re-makes but these guys don’t own the characters.
