I’m sure Werdum won’t be training in a barn or running through the snow on to the mountain tops either, as I’m also sure in the 5th (lets play along like it’s a title shot) that the whole Russian crowd won’t start chanting “vive Brazil.”

I’m a huge Fedor fan and paid $60 to see him tap out after 70 seconds of fighting, but big props to Fabricio for doing the unthinkable. I think he deserves a title shot against demolition man. Just the talk of a rematch somewhat devalues Fabricio’s accomplishment.
I’d bet against Fabricio again in a rematch, and this is still a rematch I would get hard over.
It was a number one contenders match, as long as Fedor is the one that wins.

I've seen a few of his fights, but they are all pretty old.
I’ve seen him drop from some shots that aren’t nearly as hard as Fedor can hit. But his defense looks a lot better now and his size should definitely help. I thought for sure Fedor would KO Werdum(he probably would have if he didn’t chase Werdum to the ground) and then Overeem would KO Fedor.

It was a close 5 round decision (Bj/edgar), fedor got tapped not even 2 minutes in to this fight, it wasn’t a close fight. Having reem not defend his belt for another year and have werdum fight the same guy he just wrecked makes strikefarce look more bush league than it already did.

There are exceptions. Melvin and his family live here. Cerrone has a ranch here. There are Dorms at Jacksons that some guys stay in. Some guys just live with each other and travel alot.

I may be wrong but it sounds like to me werdum could care less about trying to win the strike force belt probably because

Fedor should fight bigfoot for number 1 contender. I keep hearing this 28 fights nonsense, he simply hasnt been fighting the level of competition that is testing him. If werdum wins and fedor wins then they meet again, other than that it would be an absolute farce if they met straight away!!
Bj and edgar is way different, for one it was a very close fight, secondly BJ was the champ, fedor was not!! Personally I would have BJ fight someobne else, but the argument of both fights is way different…whether you want to believe it or not fedor got STOPPED!!!

I like Fedor as a fighter. Great style, great heart. What I hate is all he hype surrounding his record, which means very little. All the hype should finally be put to rest. Fedor himself doesn’t buy the hype, yet so many of his fans do. Some people just need heroes to worship. He fought a very stupid fight, showed no respect for his opponents’ skills, something a top fighter should never let happen. He was clearly beaten. I would even say embarrassed.

thing that pisses me off about fedor...is if he does end up fighting bigfoot next we'll suddenly see bigfoot jump up multiple places in the rankings
even though he isnt worth a shit he’ll suddenly jump REALLY high in the hw rankings just so they can show fedor fighting a “top ranked” fighter….just like they did with rogers…i think they jacked rogers all the way up to number 6 or 7 when fedor fought him…i think they put him above jds, cain, mir, werdum…..it was something like that, i dont know how exactly it was but he was in top 6 or 7…and now they gonna jack up bigfoot in the rankings too…

Like someone said earlier, this seems like he was put up to this right off the bat. SF set up Fedor to have his last fight against Overeem, explaining why they let Rodgers fight Overeem instead of Fedor first. They could not have thought Fedor would lose, now they are in a bad situation. Fedor fights who? They have no one else…Big Foot? Who cares? They can’t put him in against Overeem, although they certainly crafted moves like that in the past. Very bad position for SF to be in at this point.
