UFC 116: Forget the main event, 'Lights Out' wants you to remember 'Lytle vs Brown'
Props: The Herald Bulletin
Quoteworthy:
"I thought it was going to be an easy fight (the first time) and that wasn’t the case. [Matt Brown] was tough. I didn’t know what to expect out of him, but he was coming after me. He’s gonna try and knock me out and I’m gonna try to knock him out. That’s the kind of fights I want and (the UFC) gave me a guy I really wanted to fight. He’s improved just because of the experience he’s gained alone. He’s explosive and confident and he’s gonna come after me the same way I’m going after him. I like to fight on the big cards. I want people to be like ‘That main event was cool, but the real fight was the Lytle vs. Brown match.’ This fight should have everything. If you don’t like this, I don’t know why you’re watching."
Electrifying welterweight strikers Chris Lytle and Matt Brown will throw leather on the upcoming UFC 116: "Lesnar vs. Carwin" fight card on July 3 in Las Vegas in a bout that "Lights Out" is expecting to steal the show. "The Immortal" was choked out by the Indiana native when they met under the UFL banner back in 2007 and wants to not only get his revenge, but also be the first person to knock Lytle out. Will it remain standing long enough for that to happen? Or will Brown find his way on the wrong end of a slick submission much like Brian Foster did at UFC 110?

Now that Sexy/Wand is off... I agree
Lytle is Always entertaining. And if he actually starts incorporating his ground game, like he did in his last fight, I think he can move to the upper level of the division.

Agreed, the is the fight I'm most looking forward to
next to the main event. Lytle and Brown both bring it every time they step into the cage. I think Lytle takes it again as he’s the better striker and his underrated ground game was in full effect at 110.
There are no such things as lesbians, just women who have not yet met Chuck Norris
Yeah this is an awesome fight
These are two of the guys in the UFC where no matter who they fight I am looking forward to it. Since their fighting each other, should be a lot of fun to watch. The only thing that I can see that could ruin it is a really quick KO, mainly because I hope its a late round finish.
Agreed domino. They always have exciting fights everytime can't wait!
Kinda sux tho I don’t want either guy 2 lose.

This picture should be on the TUF wall.
Awesome. Guys like Lytle always have a place in the UFC as far as I am concerned. To be honest I’d put Jardine in that group as well. Guys that always bring it and will fight anyone at any time. Record is not as important as the warrior spirit you put on display. This is one thing the Japanese MMA has over us. While their fighters are generally inferior IMHO. Their fans get it. This is why Wand and Chuck will be legends forever even though they have faded. True warriors.
Do not. I repeat, do not, go to mma-core.com. I made the mistake of watching a couple UFC 108 bouts on there and I am still trying to get all the viruses of my computer. Ridiculous! You've been warned.

I didn't know they fought before.
Should see a similar result here.
I'm always right, even when I'm wrong.
If Lytle plays it smart, he could take down Brown and submit him again..
but if it stays on the feet, Lytle has a habit of thinking he’s better than he is. Brown would win a close decision
Give Frankie his props. He DID beat BJ Penn.
Counting down the days till Shogun vs Rogerio 2 (which now seems to have increased dramatically)
