UFC fighter salaries and paydays for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 11 Finale

The official fighter purses for those who competed at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 11 Finale this past Saturday night (June 19) from the "The Pearl" at The Palms Resort and Casino were released earlier today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).
As expected, main card participants and UFC veterans Chris "The Crippler" Leben ($70,000) and Keith "The Dean of Mean" Jardine ($55,000) were the big earners of the night -- though in Jardine's case it was on the losing end of a majority decision to Matt "The Hammer" Hamill ($52,000).
Also bringing in some decent coin was Dennis Siver ($34,000) in his unanimous decision win over Spencer "The King" Fisher ($26,000). TUF 11 champion Court "Crusher" McGee banked a meager $16,000 but won the hearts of UFC fans and a "six-figure" contract for submitting Kris "Savage" McCray ($8,000).

Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
For example, the UFC often hands out extra cash for "Fight of the Night," "Knockout of the Night" and "Submission of the Night." To check out these figures for the TUF 11 Finale go here.
The total base fighter payroll for the Spike TV event, which attracted an unofficial crowd of 1,708 attendees and a live gate of $430,250, was $406,000.

sponsors ...other jobs
im sure alot of these newer guys have other jobs..bouncer, bartenders , and most likely they teach MMA to beginners or amatuers. Plus they get money from sponsors every fight and also when they make appearances they get some money
no doubt......
Especialy when you consider they have to pay for training partners and other expenses, like should we say taxes?? So that $8000 is more like around 6 after taxes. Then consider paying training partners, cost of day to day living, and maybe the cost of nursing unjuries well after teh fight, etc, etc…
That is why Pat Barry said he ate noodles and ketchups every day……cuz he knows how hard living off those kind of wages are.,..
And also, I gotta add my daily Bsiping dig….While there are douchebags like Bisping making nearly $200 per fight who was can fed and baby caudled so he got the EAIEST path to win fights and get a UK fan base started. SICKENING for the struggling fighters who are making thes peanuts to fight and ARE better than Bispign NOW and when Bisping got can fed. On that note AT least the UFC knows HOW EASY they make it for him…..since he makes 175k to show and is ONLY awarded 15k for a win. So at least the UFC knows how easy this douchebag has it
TUF Finalists should be paid more
Looks like they got the same 8K show/8K win payout that the other guys on the show got. Just my opinion, but I think the 2 guys in the Finale should get a little more dough, at least 10/10. Nice to see Court get the $25K for sub of the night, I think he has a real future in the UFC. In fact, I think McCray, Noke, Attonito, and Tavares all have a future in the UFC—there was definitely more talent on the show this year than in the past few seasons.
And I’m pretty sure that the UFC pays out training money to it’s fighters under contract, so these guys have money to train and pay bills between fights. I don’t know how much training money they get each month, but I would imagine it’s around 2-3K. Maybe someone else has more knowledge on the subject?
There are no such things as lesbians, just women who have not yet met Chuck Norris
i was curious to see the pay outs from ufc 115
I want to know how much lidell, franklin and cro cop made that night.
And worth every penny! Look at his record in the UFC. And he has 1,000 times more fans than Keith Jardine
Leben and Matt Hammil quite possibly have the two best chins in the UFC.
Hammil has only been stopped by body kicks from Franklin. And Leben was stunned by Anderson Silva’s US debut.
I AM SOMETIMES BIASED - Get over it!!!!!!!
lebon is fun to watch fight and his hair was the reddest i have ever seen it.
aaron simpson needs to drop to 170. he is a small 185.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Craig Thompson just might end up being a savvy guy if he gets the MWC to 12 teams. Hell is just a word, the reality is much much worse." Event Horizon". Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean, I mean plumb, mad dog mean. cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live or win. That's just the way it is. "The Outlaw Josey Wales". To protect the sheep you gotta catch the wolf, and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf. "Training Day". Rashad will beat Rua b/c it's a bad matchup for him. 2/1 odds. Josh Koscheck will dethrone Gsp and win the welterweight title. 2.9/1 odds on that too. Peace.
