Maligned middleweight enigma Paulo Filho (19-1) shares his grand plans for the future with Graciemag.com, which include a fight against current UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio Rua. "Ely" plans to fight four times in 2010, apparently overlooking the fact that he's pulled out of three events in the past 12 months, including a last minute withdrawal from his Bellator superfight against Hector Lombard back on May 13. Can he finally get his affairs in order and return to his past dominance? Or will he crack before ever getting the chance to fulfill his dream of fighting "Shogun?"

Filho has become a joke
Dude needs to 1) Actually show up for his fights, and 2) Put a few good wins together before calling out Rua. But if he did that, I doubt Dana would signed him after he screwed over the WEC by not making weight and acting all crazy in the cage.

This is the only site I ever, ever use for fight related news. If I ever somehow made it to the show, I promise I’d be reading on here more then daily, just like I do now, and I’d comment to all the regulars under my real name, just like I do now.
Been talking to these guys a long time. I think it would be awesome to speak to them after making it. Let them fire questions, etc. Would be really cool I think. Yeah, people would hate on me, but the regulars would stick up for me, and I got thick skin, and understand for every 1 nice guy, there’s 10 or more jerks to follow.

Guy hasn’t done squat in 2 years and is talking about Challenging the Champion of the Premier Show. Make it to the big show first then call out the champ. I can call out Shogun to, I have been planning on fighting him for years and I think I can make the win happen. That means squat since I am no where near being UFC caliber Talent, much like Paulo!
I was a fool for ever doubting Shogun. I should be ashamed for never giving him a chance to get healthy. Shogun made Machida look B-level-Just like my bet made me look b-level!
