Tickets for UFC on Versus 2, which was recently relocated to the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California, for August 1, will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, June 19 at 10 a.m. PT.
UFC Fight Club members and UFC Newsletter subscribers, naturally, will be able to scoop up tickets prior to them being available for public consumption.
UFC on Versus 2 will feature a match up between light heavyweight superstar in the making Jon Jones and Belarusian brawler Vladimir Matyushenko.
Also on tap for the second such event on the cable network are bouts between Mark Munoz and Yushin Okami as well as Takanori Gomi and Joe Stevenson.
Here is the new UFC on Versus 2 tickets sales schedule:
- UFC Fight Club presale: Friday, June 18 at 10 a.m. PT
- UFC Newsletter presale: Friday, June 18 at 1 p.m. PT
- General tickets sale: Saturday, June 19 at 10 a.m. PT
UFC on Versus 2 tickets can be purchased through StubHub.com (Note: StubHub often has seats available even if the event is "sold out"). It will also be available to watch on Versus at 9 p.m. ET on fight night.

that they think they can do better in SD on short notice than waiting to see what happens in utah. But as was said before- UFC in Utah on a Sunday, not smart.

I understand that everyone from up there is not mormom, but a good number of them are, so why risk it?
Agreed, UFC was dumb to schedule it on Sunday
MMA is actually pretty big in Utah, and there are lower-tier shows going on all the time. But Mormons don’t typically got to sporting events on Sunday, so that’s over 50% of your potential audience right there. I agree that a PPV card on a Saturday would prob sell out in SLC and I’d prob make the drive from Vegas to attend it. Next time do your homework Dana!

and now that Jones gets past Vera, he gets a worse opponent then last time!!!! makes no sense!

Vera was a much stiffer test than Maty, and now with all the hype behind him they put him in against a downgraded opponent = doesn"t add up
Vlad is a much stronger wrestler though.
I think they want to se how he does against a guy with a great wrestling backround and has been in the big show before. Not that Verra hasn’t been in the big show but Vlad has fought some of the best and stood in there with the best.

I expect Jones to beat him as a matter of fact I think Jones could beat just about anyone at 205, they way he has handled his 2 gatekeepers so far (Verra and Hammil).

looks like UFC is keeping this kid warmed up on the side lines
Light heavy weight division is pretty stacked up and probably by year end they will throw Bones in the mix .. by that time it will be more clear who’s where .. I don’t mind the card at all .. plus it’s Free .. and I always enjoy watching Bones work his magic.
