Anderson has become the Roy Jones of MMA, if he thinks he might lose or gets bored he will do enough to win rounds by being boring as hell or depending on how you look at it gifted as hell…so a fight with Belfort would be great or could be a very dull fight

Chael schooled and owned Nate and Okami,
guys many thought he couldn’t beat and had no chance of beating. They were number one contenders and he made them look like amateurs. Anderson is a champion, he should act like one and fight like one, to do otherwise is disrespecting the fans and his opponents. Not being motivated is no excuse for acting like an idiot and fighting like a pussy. He always likes everyone to see how respectful he is, well he shouldn’t just pick and choose when that is going to be. He was defending against top fighters, they may not have been the most popular or fan favorites, but they were top fighters. I don’t care who wins, but I hope Chael does cause some damage. Silvas has had it easy up until this point, and that will work against him in this match, Chaels aggression and power will put him pressure on him that he hasn’t seen for a while. I know Anderson Silva beat Maia and Maia beat Chael, but some are conveniently forgetting that Nate beat Maia and got owned by Chael.
But got schooled by Maia, subbed by Filho...
and had an unimpressive/lackluster win against Miller. He almost got subbed over and over again in that match. Anderson has great BJJ skills and I think Anderson has the ability (with his precision and timing) to make Chael pay for shooting in on him. I also like Anderson ability to figure 4 the body with his long legs. That alone could stifle and smother much of Sonnens attack.
Also as much as I have fallen out of being a Anderson fan, I am even less of a Chael fan. While I love the ground game, I hate the sit in your guard game. It makes for long and boring fights-even though it tends to be successful..

Silva by Triangle. That seems to be Chael’s crutch time and time again. Since Chael has yet to be stopped by strikes, and his ability to put Okami and Nate the Great down at will, I think he will get Andy down, but will get tapped in 2 rounds.

It was the second round. He was clinched with him trying for the takedown when he got caught with a knee and a punch and then had the td stuffed and went down. Anderson took top control and Henderson gave up the back when anderson took it and choked him. Whether he is terribly offensive in his guard or not he is on of only 2 people to sub Henderson. Chael has been getting choked out since the begining of his career anytime he has fought an A level fighter with the exception of Marquardt-who also almost subbed him.

He not only rips on Anderson who does seem like a bit of a snob but he rips the whole camp. He rips the Nog brothers, Machida (not here but has before) even Brazil itself. Not even Dan Hardy talks this much crap. I see Anderson really going after this clown. If he does get the KO or TKO you can expect he is going to keep hitting this dude till the reff yanks him off.
I do think this is the first time someone has faced Anderson that was not intimidated though. I think he will eat a knee going for a shot if not a few right hands. Anderson knows Chael is going to bull rush him. All he has to do is throw an elbowto the temple while they are clinched and lights out.

Chael is an excellent fighter and also a great entertainer by the comedic and witty statements he makes to sell fights. I can’t wait to see this fight. I love both fighters.

Why the Anderson Hate???
Has Silva ever talked badly about any fighter that he was about to fight? If someone talks badly about him does he not have the right kick their @$$ the way sees fit? Maia talked junk, he got whipped. Everybody is on Sonnen’s nuts, but what happens when he gets smashed? Will the haters continue to hate or will they give Anderson Silva his due? Yes, SIlva may lose. ANYTHING can happen, but if he fought Sonnen 10x, Anderson will win 9x easily. Should he drop 1 fight, it will be based on some freak accident. I mean think about it, what has Sonnen done? Look at his stoppages. Who has he stopped? Does he have KO ability? Does he have submissions? How does he win over 25 mins without getting caught? Did you see him after the Nate fight? Imagine that times 50 after he fights Silva. Is Nate known for striking? Weren’t the Anderson haters saying Anderson would lose every big fight he had? First, there was Franklin. Then, Franklin came back for more. Then, Hendo was supposed to out-wrestle him and/or beat him in stand-up. Then, Irvin was supposed send him back down 185. Then, Forrest was supposed to do the same. Was any fighter even close? The guy has a 11 fight string of victories and only 2 people have gone the distance with him. Yet, people are acting as if Anderson isn’t living up to his end of the deal. What do you want? What fighter has been that dominant over the same period time – fighting top level competition? Please list them out. Remember, Silva doesn’t do the matchmaking. Short of Machida and that is no longer an issue, he is willing to fight ANYONE from 170-205. I can’t help but wonder – is the hate b/c Anderson destroyed the fighter whose nuts people are hugging or is it something else (race, nationality, etc…)? I mean no sane person can hate him b/c he does not deliver in the ring – 9 stoppages in 11 fights. No sane person can say he has disrespected an opponent before or after a fight. So, what is it? Why the hate? Or, do people hate just for the sport of hating? LOL!
Again, as I objectively look at this upcoming fight, I am hard pressed to understand Sonnen’s tirades. Does Sonnen win in the standup? Does Sonnen submit him? Has Silva ever EVER E-V-E-R been hurt with blows? Do your YouTube research. Don’t listen to the haters. So, Sonnen and his nut huggers really believe this is an easy fight for Sonnen? He will go 25 mins and not miss a take-down AND NOT PAY A HUGE PRICE FOR MISSING the take down!?!?!? My prediction – Anderson by anything he wants. He may submit him and break something in the process. He just make knock him out with strikes or a flying knee. Sonnen must fight a perfect fight and and Silva must really have an OFF night for this to be even close. HEAR IT NOW. BELIEVE IT LATER!!!

Come UFC 117, all of the people hugging Sonnen’s nuts will have to taste their sweaty defeat. I hope Sonnen brings something to flavor that big shit salad he’ll have when Anderson makes him eat his words. If Anderson really can end this anyway he chooses, I’d love to see a tap due to strikes in the later rounds.
