I am very excited
I am worried for Chuck, but he looks to be in phenomenal shape and very dangerous. I am just moreso worried about his chin. Cant wait to see how he does. I am hoping for a rebirth of Chuck or at least a decent war. Rich is a great striker though. We will have to wait and see but I def am excited
Exactly my thoughts. I’m too big of a Chuck fan not to be excited for this card, but I’m very anxious too.

My thoughts exactly, my two worries are the speed of chucks footwork and the obvious worry about his chin. However lets not forget in the past chuck had a great chin, so I’m hoping that with a change of lifestyle it’s returned…..if that’s at all possible!!
Just glad to see he’s in great shape and applying himself, cos apart from the rampage and maybe shogun fights, chuck done well or was winning those fights and he was no where near the same shape! Gony be an interesting night:)

This could be the least night that we see Chuck or Cro Cop fight. People should definitely tune in. Chuck looks to have given it his all as far as his preperation goes. I really am getting excited for this night. I can’t lie though, my heart will be racing the entire time that the fight is underway. Just hoping that Chuck does well.
Chucks main wins were against wrestlers and jits guys,
whenever he has fought a half descent striker in the last few years, he has lost. I know he beat Wandy, but all he wanted to do was stand and trade without any sort of gameplan defense or actual technique, so I do not include this. That being said the last striker he has faced and beaten was Vernon White in 2004. Rich Franklin is not the same Rich who beat Evan Tanner or David Loiseau, he has never been the same since Silva beat him, and he hasn’t had any really impressive wins since being beaten by Silva. Chuck will always have a punchers chance with the power he has, but with his record against strikers, and the intellgence and speed that Rich should bring to the Octagon, Franklin should take it. Chuck got knocked out by shots that would have taken out most fighters, especially the ones he received from Ramapge and Rashad, so I cannot base his so called weak chin on those shots, but if Franklin is able to to take him out in the same way, I would definitely question the strength of his chin. Exciting no, interesting yes.

i’ve been excited since day 1. rich franklin puts on exciting fights, and he’s always sitting just shy of #1 contender because of his relationship with UFC & Dana White.
and who doesnt get excited when liddell fights? when the guy finally retires, people will miss him in the octagon, why not enjoy him while he’s still there?
