Jardine comes out furious but now Hamill lands a good right and rocks Jardine back. Hamill looking for the take down now. Knee from the clinch from Hamill and Jardine gets to his feet. Jab from Hamill and leg kick from Jardine. Leg kick from Hamill. Both men land jabs. Knee from the clinch from Hamill after a failed take down attempt. Jab from Hamill. Left from Hamill. Left from Jardine. Right from Jardine. Hamill with a lazy shot but nothing there. Jardine cannot see he keeps wiping his eye's. This blood is thick and gushing big time. Jab from Hamill. Jardine with a big leg kick. Jab from Hamill and thats the bell. Interesting fight and tough to score. Jardine won the 1st round, and Hamill won the 2nd while Jardine also lost a point. The third was extremely close but id lean towards Hamill. 10-9 Hamill he should win a close decision.
Final result: Matt Hamill defeats Keith Jardine via Majority Decision

Thats it McCray taps out and Court McGee is The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 winner!! Court McGee controlled this fight from start to finish it was never in doubt. Both men swinging hard but none of it connecting. Great one two punch from Siver. Nice left from Siver, and it looks like both men butted heads. Thats the bell and alot of dancing but both men did some damage. The cut on Sivers eye is from an accidental head butt. Id say 10-9 Fisher.
Round two: Nice head kick from Fisher. Weak left from Fisher. Leg kick from Siver. Left from Siver going backward. Both mens styles are canceling each other out. Fisher misses a knee. Siver catches a knee and lands a big right which puts Fisher on his butt, but Fisher recovers quickly. Siver with another good right. Fisher with a stiff left. Good push kick from Siver. Nice left hook from Siver. Left from Fisher. High kick from Fisher. Nice right left combo from Siver. Good right from Siver. Double right hook from Siver. Left from Siver. Left from Fisher. Fisher with a good combo. Right left from Siver. Right from Siver. Spinning backfist from Fisher. Right from Siver and left from Siver. Thats the bell, this was a very weird fight. Both men were active and throwing strikes but nothing of significance connected for either man (minus and unintentional head butt which cut Siver) Id give the 3rd round to Siver 10-9. This has split decision all over, no idea whos going to get it.

Yager with some nice elbows while stuffing the take down. Yager peeks at the clock. Attonito with a BIG counter right that stuns Yager. Thats the bell and it was a close round. Dana wants a double elimintation
he doesn’t like Hamill or Jardine IMO, neither of them fit the mould of the kind of fighters he wants, but the fans seem to like them enough so he’s sort of stuck with them, as long as they keep winning.
i think loser gets dropped so either way Dana will be happy.
and Yaeger’s on the main card? weak. just because he has the personality to get people to tune in… it’s this season’s Junie Browning yippeeee… if not for the quitting on the stool though, i liked his athletic moves and kicks, too bad they were so ineffective
Could definitely see the loser getting dropped.
Can’t say I will be terribly dissapointed to see with one go.
What's really sad is both guys should go not just one of them
They could make more money selling highlights of them getting knocked out by their opponents.

jardine is 6-6 in the ufc with 3 straight losses and they have cut people for less. if dana didn’t like jardine and wanted to get rid of him he would be gone by now. if he didn’t like either of these guys then he would stick them on the undercard he wouldn’t put them in the main event.

And just because they wont be in title contention doesnt make them chumps. Wait who are you again? Anyone fighting for a title?

Agree 100%
Hamill lost to Rich Franklin and Bisbing (I disagree with the decision) and got pummeled by Jones. You can’t knock him for losing/winning vs. Jones. Franklin was like his idol, so he may have been star struck. I don’t see how you can say Hamill is a joke. He took Munoz’ head off last year. Jardine has lost 3 straight, which usually means trouble but it was to top level competition. Bader is up and coming. Thiago is a beast and Quinton was at least a little more relevant when he lost to him in a good fight. That one would have been really close had Jardine not got tagged in the last few seconds.
Right. After Jardine Lost Too Rampage
He didnt have to take the Thiago Fight. And After Losing Two Straight He Doesnt Have To Take The Blue Chip Prospect Bader On Either. He Could Have Won vs Page. He Did Beat Chuck before Chuck became “washed up” and he has been the ideal company man since day one.
by AintNoSunshine on Jun 10, 2010 2:56 PM EDT up reply actions
I always wondered
Everyone always seems surprised by Jardine’s power. He shocked everyone by beating Chuck, which probably surprised Chuck. Rampage had nothing but respect after their fight. I believe he had a few wow moments and wasn’t expecting so much from Jardine. Thiago seemed pissed, like he got hit hard and got upset. Same thing seemed to happen in the Houston fight too. I don’t know what I am asking, but the Thiago and Houston fights seemed particularly odd. I like Keith. I also like techno viking.
Cliff notes- When Jardine hits people, they seem to get more upset than if someone else had hit them.
Jardine Said Houston Wasnt At His Level
And was Reluctant to Take the Fight

SOMEBODY likes jardine, seeing as he is still in the ufc
Or likes his wang gobbling skills…he always brings it but I don’t know if they can justify keeping him with another loss…saying they have the BEST in the world…and I don’t want to hear “herky jerky” style anymore…I think many would call that being stiff

Jardine is no longer “the dean of mean” in my opinion. Just one ugly looking dude, thats why people think he’s so mean. But hey wtf, i would love to see Hammil smash his face in. I cant stop watching Jardine get KTFO,it NEvER gets old .

I can't get excited about two guys that
are only around because of the Tuf show. Not alot of talent blooming from the Tuf show except maybe Florian and Evans….Forrest is more of a personality who fights rather than a fighter with personality.
I think I maybe be still suffering from the Evans Jackson media hype jetlag.
always borrow money from a pessimist, they won't expect it back anyway!
Kos, Diego, Forrest, Evans, Joe Daddy and Florian have all gotten shots or became champ.
If you remove the rest of the talent that TUF brought to the UFC, you could start a very competitive organization from the cast-offs. (Hammill, Swick, Jardine, Southworth, Karalexis, Quarry, Leben, Davis, Guillard, Burkman, etc, etc, etc)
TUF has not provided as much top-end talent as the UFC probably hoped, especially seasons 3-7, but it provides names for the undercards. Considering DW and the Fertitas attempt to distinguish MMA from boxing by providing “stacked cards”, having a reality show that makes you think the guys fighting 4th from the main event are really good is a brilliant idea. It is our job to wade through the bullshit and decide who is good or not.
Obviously many are drinking the kool-aid, or this main event would never happen as anything more than a #5 fight on a PPV. So I agree and disagree ;)

This series has been a mess
Having a coach get fired, 2 of the best fighters pull out with injuries and the final be contested between 2 eliminated guys as well as having fights end in controversy e.g. by DQ or corner stoppage and having the main grudge match cancelled because of a pitbull bite to the balls shows how disastrous this series was. Even the finale show looks pretty crap. At least the world cup is starting so I can enjoy that until the good cards begin.

Does anyone else find it odd that the TUF finale isn’t actually the main event of the TUF finale? I think most of the people who tune in have more interest in the outcome of the show than they do in some random fight between Hamill and Jardine (not that either is hugely appealing).
The Finals of TUF havent been the Main Event at the Finale for years now
I AM SOMETIMES BIASED - Get over it!!!!!!!
they keep switching it up
the TUF 10 finale main event was advertised as Jones/Hamil, but didn’t Nelson/Schaub end up being the last fight? TUF 9 had the finals as the main event. TUF 8 definitely had the finals as the main event. TUF 7, 6, and 5 finale’s did not have the finals as the main event. TUF 4 did. TUF 3 & 2 did not. And TUF 1 did. So they definitely keep switching it up.
"They lie about marijuana. Tell you pot-smoking makes you unmotivated. Lie! When you're high, you can do everything you normally do, just as well. You just realize that it's not worth the fucking effort. There is a difference."
TUF 1 didn't, they had Ace-Shammy as the main event
Forrest-Bonnar should have been the main event though and it’s the only memorable main card fight.

I mean, what if…of course this is a HUGE IF…what if a fighter loses control…Herb Dean or Big John could handle it…maybe take a beating…but be alright…what if a fighter goes nuts and shes on the recieving end….
I just dont see positives with this.

The Interim belt is a joke
Even Carwin said it in the ring…Although his actions are saying otherwise. What’s up with that not so discreet shot of the belt in the background?
Same here
1st one was with Couture…Once he came back they should have got rid of it.
2nd one was with Lesnar’s health…Once he came back they should have got rid of it. The interim belt is like a #1 contender ticket/belt…
"get rid of it"
I don’t think it should exist to begin with.
When Randy left the company, he should have been stripped of it.
With Mir-Carwin, I don’t know why they bothered calling it that (except to make it five rounds?), they should have just called it a number one contenders match.

In both cases
They didn’t know if the champ was coming back. Randy “retired” and Brock’s health might have forced him to retire. I can see why they did it, but once the real champ came back they should have turfed the belts…I see your point though.
same thing when GSP fought Hughes, while Serra was injured.
its just a way to sell a fight and use the words “championship title fight”. Bullshit.
The belt is just a symbol of who is #1 in the weightclass. If you don’t beat the #1 guy, you dont get a belt.

wow
Kind of a trigger happy point deduction
