hes got no chance against silva

but i like belcher.if silva beats sonnen and belfort and moves up hes definitely in the mix for the title.winner of marquardt/toquinho or sexyama rematch if he beats silva next.

surprise me if belcher did get a shot at the title n the near future. i mean who else do they have at MW bsides belfort & sonnen? mayb they should match him up with bisping.

I think Belcher should get the shot

He’s more deserving at this point then Sonnen or Belfort, IMO. And we all know we’d like to see Silva get a piledriver! LOL! I don’t actually think Belcher would win…but I don’t think Sonnen or Belfort would win either, so let’s go with the guy who has gotten fight bonuses his last 3 outings.

But oh well, that’s not the case. Sonnen has the next shot with Silva. How about Belcher vs Belfort for #1 contender after Sonnen?

He lost his one fight with a ranked fighter....

He lost his fight to Akiyama..When he fought Akiyama wasn’t he a number 10 or 9? He has to beat at least one top 10er before going for the title I think, I would hope! Maia, Belfort, or Okami all come to mind! MArquart is a great fight for him as well.

I was a fool for ever doubting Shogun. I should be ashamed for never giving him a chance to get healthy. Shogun made Machida look B-level-Just like my bet made me look b-level!

But it is a L on his record. I just think one big name before going for the champ..

Wanderlei/Akiyama winner vs Belcher

He’d be a great match up for Wandy who like to stand and bang. His fight with Akiyama was the best fight of ufc 100. If Wany wins they will pit him against someone else before a title shot but if Akiyama wins he might get a title shot.

Belcher made a good impression

On me at 113, but right now the challengers for the middleweight title aren’t gonna cut it. Silva needs to jump up to 205 and have real competition, and no excuses now, Lyoto is out of the way. Anyone can get pissed at how Silva has acted recently, but if he actually had a challenger who he’d have to take seriously, he’d still destroy. The man is a beast.
