They deserved it.
That card was amazing and so much fun to watch. I´m glad to hear that it was a big success for them. The WEC always delivers and the fighters deserve more money and the only way for them to get that money is through Pay Per View.

Well the answer there is
That Zuffa replays all their PPV’s on spike TV; Spike TV is a competitor with the VS channel, so the branding being advertised would pretty much kill pre-lims on Spike or any replays done for a WEC PPV event.

It helped a lot to have the Garcia-Jung fight be the last of the prelims.
I have a feeling if the prelims didn’t end on a high note, they could have easily gotten around 500k less.
I personally know multiple people who ended up buying just cause of the amazing mood they were when the prelims ended. They would have otherwise never bought it.
Great for WEC, they deserve that, although I still hope to see Henderson/Aldo agains the UFC lightweights sometime in the near future.
