Time to get back to business and see who the Maniacs feel is the cream of the crop in the Heavyweight Division.

We will poll each fight individually, for 1 day, beginning with opening round Match #1.  MMA Mania has the most knowledgeable MMA online community, so please feel free to post your pick in the comments along with your analysis of how you see the fights breaking down.  Hopefully this will give us something to do on slow news days.

It was extremely hard to come up with seeding for this tourney as Cain, Shane, and Jr all have a good argument for the #2 seed.  For that reason, I put the 3 names in a hat and drew for seeds 2-4.  For the rest of the seedings, I utilized multiple MMA rankings, while also taking styles into consideration.

Match #7:  In the words of Michael Shavelo, Big Country put The Big Kah-bahsh on Kongo, breezing through to the quarters with 79% of the vote.  He now awaits the winner of Big and Bigger...

Match #8:  Two huge Heavyweights that know how to finish fights.  Rothwell has only seen the final bell 4 times in 41 professional contests, with finishes in 35 of his 37 victories.  Even more impressive?  Shane Carwin has never even heard the bell for the 2nd round, finishing all 12 of his opponents in the 1st.  In fact, only 2 of his fights have lasted longer than 2 minutes.  Translation...?   This one won't last long.
