UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva is expected to defend his title in August against outspoken challenger Chael Sonnen.
Although Silva hasn’t seemed especially interested in the Octagon against former challengers like Thales Leites, Patrick Cote and Demian Maia, Sonnen’s banter might have caught the Brazilian’s attention.
“I think it’s going to be fun,” Silva says of the matchup. Could we see the Silva that dominated Franklin, Griffin, and every other fighter he has faced inside the octagon? I believe Chael Sonnen has just awaken a sleeping giant . We will find out at UFC 117!!!!
