Fedor fighting at 205 makes all the sense in the world to me.Not because I don't think he can compete with the bigger hws but simply because it works for everyone involved.  1st off M-1. Fedor being undefeated is a huge bargaining chip for them. And if Fedor comes to the UFC and loses right away,they are done. But Fedor would be an absolute beast at 205. His chances of staying undefeated longer is better at lhw. Could he lose at 205?Yes. Would anyone dominate him? No.  Big fights(shogun,rampage,a. silva),longer career,and the biggest plus for M-1,more money.  The same reasons its good for M-1 are the same reasons its good for the UFC. After Fedor fights the champ(lesnar/carwin)the fights you can make at hw don't compare to the fights you can make at lhw.IMO.  Now there will be some people that say Fedor will continue to dominate the UFC hws. He doesn't need to drop weight. There will be some that say he's dropping weight because he's scared of the new hws(which is b.s. Did Wandy drop to mw because he's scared of lhws?) But my only response to that is, I want to see the best fights possible. Fedor fighting cain is cool. Fedor fighting brock would be interesting. But a bellyless 205 lb Fedor fghting Anderson Silva.WTF. Does it get any better than that. I'm not a Fedor honk or hater. But his situation does interest the hell out of me. Give me some feedback!
