We will poll each fight individually, for 1 day, beginning with opening round Match #1.  MMA Mania has the most knowledgeable MMA online community, so please feel free to post your pick in the comments along with your analysis of how you see the fights breaking down.  Hopefully this will give us something to do on slow news days.

It was extremely hard to come up with seeding for this tourney as Cain, Shane, and Jr all have a good argument for the #2 seed.  For that reason, I put the 3 names in a hat and drew for seeds 2-4.  For the rest of the seedings, I utilized multiple MMA rankings, while also taking styles into consideration.

SF #1:  The day has come.  The Vanilla  Gorilla had been sent back to his cage, as Cain reeled in 60% of the vote.  In a tourney with virtually no upsets, Cain has sent the champ packing, and we are now guarenteed to crown a new champ.  Cain now awaits the winner of SF #2. 

Semi-Final #1:  This has to be my favorite contest of the Tourney.  JDS and Carwin is a battle of the best hands vs the biggest power.  It is an interesting match because despite each man's respective dominance in the UFC, we still have many questions about each.  For instance, what happens to Shane Carwin when the bell rings at the end of round 1?  Does he turn into a pumpkin?  Does he return to the depths Mt McKinley and enter his 1000 years slumber?  The truth is no one knows, because no opponent has lasted longer that 3:43 seconds....  As for JDS, everyone is curious about the quality of his ground game.  Thats because no one has been able to get this pugilist to his back.  Despite having no real wrestling background he has shown superior TD defense thus far...

So lets get some of these questions answered, and find out who will face Cain for the HW Championship...
