Moosin "Gods of Martial Arts fight recaps:
Jeremy Jackson here! Time to rock and roll, Maniacs!
Tim Sylvia vs. Marius Pudzianowski
Fight recap: Sylvia is listed at 260. Nice try, guys. Pudzianowski is serenaded to the cage by a Polish rapper. The fighters' respective anthems are sung and it's time to get it on. Big leg kick by Marius and he's going for the takedown. He's got it! Sylvia gets back to his feet and Marius has him clinched against the fence. Sylvia lands some shots and a knee to the body. Marius is looking tired already. Sylvia is controlling the clinch with knees now and Marius is bright red. Hard jab by Tim and he tosses Marius to the mat and lands in guard. Side control for Sylvia and a thoroughly gassed Marius looks to be in big trouble as the round ends.
Big knees by Sylvia and a hard right hand. Pudzianowski is warned for grabbing the fence. Now Marius collapses from a weak-looking uppercut! Sylvia takes side control and starts dropping shots and Marius is tapping enthusiastically. Tim announces that he's back, but in this observer's opinion that has yet to be determined. Marius might want to stick to carrying Volkswagons around. They don't hit back. Sylvia wins by submission to top off an exciting night of action.
Travis Wiuff vs. Josh Barnes
Fight recap: Don't blink, folks. These big boys are swinging. Both fighters trade bombs and Wiuff lands a huge left hook that sends Barnes reeling backwards into the cage. Wiuff pounces and starts dropping unchecked blows to the head. This one is over in a hurry. Wiuff by KO.
Travis Lutter vs. Rafael Natal
Fight recap: Lutter looks doughy. Big surprise. He misses an overhand right and gets clipped with a head kick. Lutter can't get the double-leg and that's a recurring theme in round 1. Lutter looks to already be tiring. Natal catches Lutter with a straight left and smashes him with an uppercut. The finishing ground strikes are elementary. Lutter's crappy conditioning costs him yet again. Natal by KO.
Yves Edwards vs. Mike Campbell
Fight recap: Crisp exchanges. Sweet body kick from Campbell. Campbell pushes forward while Edwards tries to counter. Campbell with a couple leg kicks. Edwards bobs and weaves and shoots in. Campbell reverses him and gets on top but Yves gets up. Campbell gets him down again, slips into half guard. Yves misses a big knee. Campbell's right eye is cut but he looked good in round 1.
Yves comes out firing punches and kicks in round 2. Yves takes Campbell's back. Campbell reverses a rear naked choke attempt and both fighters spring to their feet. Big slam for Edwards and he's got Campbell's back once more. Again Campbell turns out of it. Campbell lands a left hook. Now they're exchanging some hard strikes. Edwards probably takes round 2. Good fight.
Edwards jukes and jives while Campbell presses. Now Edwards is the aggressor. He lands a couple punches and misses a knee. Campbell elects to attempt a single-leg, but Edwards defends and ends up on top. Campbell sweeps him and briefly gains top position. Edwards with a half-piledriver and the fight ends on the ground. Another ridiculously close fight. I give the edge to Edwards but the judges disagree. Unanimous decision for Campbell.
Tara LaRosa vs. Roxy Modafferi
Fight recap: Roxy looks slow and tentative. LaRosa lands a right hand. La Rosa clinches Roxy against the cage but can't secure the takedown. Now Roxy has Tara pinned against the fence. Tara finally gets back to her feet. Tara lands a nice punch but Roxy lands her own BIG shot to end the round.
Roxy gets a takedown early in round 2. Now both fighters are very tentative on their feet. Roxy lands a knee to the body and now LaRosa finds a home for a hard three-punch combination. Takedown for Larosa.
LaRosa counters Roxy and drops her with a right hand early in round 3. Roxy sinks in a triangle form the bottom! After an eternity Tara escapes. Now Tara gets a takedown. The fight ends with both combatants stalled against the cage. Very tough to call. The judges award Roxy the split decision victory.

I'm a sucker for a good freakshow fight.
So I just plunked down the $29.99 to see Timmay vs. Pudz.
Where in St.louis you from?
Im from St.louis too
Im actually from Farmington
But no one know where the hell that is,lol But its 50 miles south of STL
I guess $29.99 is a lot of money to some people.
I’d rather watch it a big screen TV than on a computer screen.
I got Timmy
as much as I’m not a fan, he’s a big HW that has decent stand up and very good take down defense. If he trains seriously and cuts back down to HW, there are decent match ups for him out there in SF and even possibly as a gatekeeper in the UFC.
flame away guys!
kev i took timmay too
What odds did u get?
I get my ass kicked for money, all you gotta do is talk motherfucker.... Rampage Pride GP03

Maybe the worst commentating ever.
Not even SF is this bad, sometimes.

I hope Bas slaps the other two guys.

I can't believe...
I’m watching this instead of strikeforce. I see your post up top Kevjack, but seeing Timmay tip the scales at over 300lbs. makes me think he didn’t take his training seriously. I’m going for the world’s strongest man!
omg these guys are worse than the strikeforce commentators
when lutter walked to his music, they were like he is like “this is serial killer music” hahaha
Sic Vis Pacem, Para Bellum
Very entertaining fights given the amateurish production.
It’s funny seeing Butterbean standing behind the fighters in the ring.
Made an account just to say
WAtching the Show.. all i gotta say is the commentating is so bad jesus.. but yeah the fights are pretty entertaining
Sylvia's head
Conan : You are known as a striker. Is that correct? Tell me what that means.
Chuck : Well I like to punch people, or kick them.
Not just because
you’re the World’s Strongest Man..

lol told you so
I knew this would happen, and as for everyone who thought that strength would carry him through???? I also said that lifting weights is far different from lifting people or controlling them as they dont hit back!!
Timmy is done as a top HW
Yeah thats horrible how do you not finish a moving punching bag in anything less then 1minute??? There is no excuse for such a horrible performance id recommand timmy stay away from Strikeforce he will just end up getting (t)KO’d a few more times. I was actually hoping Timmy would do good and head to SF but with a garbage performance like that against a total can yeah hes done.
If you dont like drugs then dont do them.....give them to me!
khaos warrior is the champ
keyboard warrior ftw!
LOL I would think it was more Pudz was never there.

You just get that sucker to the designated place at the designated time, and I will gladly designate his ass... for DISMEMBERMENT!
HOME TOWN DECISION!
Yeves Edwards was robbed!! Come on boys, you don’t get extra points for having a good effort vs a legend in the sport. You either beat him or you don’t and Campbell didn’t. I won’t say it isn’t partially Yves fault for leaving to the judges, he had to know if it was close (it was) he would lose. He also showed little to no side to side movement and once again only moved backwards, making it look like he was taking more damage than he was, but come on?
Campbell did well but he did not win that fight and I think we all know it.
