Yesterday I wrote and posted an article on here talking about hate speech in pre-fight hype, which was in reply to a article I saw posted on the front page of MMA Weekly (a site that i actually enjoy visiting). You can see my article here. If you read the article there is obviously a jokey feel to it. All I did was pool quotes from there article to show just how rediculous the things they were saying actually were. As I usually do with my favorite posts that I write, I also posted it over at BE. Now when you visit my post you get this. Apparently I got censored, as I have seen many many many others in the recent past. Upon logging into my SB Nation account I had some kind of "censor" message saying one of my comments were "completly unacceptable".
The comment in question:
Is calling someone gay hate speech now? If you said yes, you’re gay
First I would like to thank Mania for having a sense of humor and also not trying to control everything we post. It was certainly not to be taken seriously, obviously. And I just wanted to give a big thanks to Mania and all our awesome posters and commenters for engaging in an awesome conversation about this yesterday.
Thank you all
