I don’t think Forrest brings ANYTHING to the octagon that hasn’t been seen before. He definitely doesn’t bring anything that Shogun hasn’t seen before. To think Forrest is better at anything over Rua is ridiculous. He got the best of him that night but it wasn’t because Forrest was better, it was cause Shogun was off. And Machida is 100x’s better than Forrest and Shogun seemed absolutely composed when taken down. Now the fact that he wanted to get back up as quickly as he did could be either because he knew his advantage was standing or because he wanted no part of the ground game…in which case jay you would be correct. But that’s still to be seen. I just don’t see why Shogun would want anything to do with anyone’s ground game when he’s clearly a better striker. Bring in either Evans or Jackson and then you can measure Rua’s ground game. but don’t start saying he’s scared of going to the ground because he wants to work the one part of his game that he’s dominating with.

But GSP will be able to pick Kos apart on the feet all day long. He’s faster and much more technical. Kos may have a bit more power but I don’t believe he’ll be able to connect on the champ.

I have done this exact trip before, minus the ticket to the event. Not sure what you are talking about. You don’t need to stay in a suite, but 4 guys splitting a “normal” room is less than $800 (4 × 200). I can easily eat with a few beers for 2 days for $200, and the airfare may be a little high, but not much.
