Lyle Beerbohm vs Vitor Ribeiro from 'Heavy Artillery' replays today (May 19) on Strikeforce.com
After a controversial decision in the Lyle Beerbohm vs. Vitor Ribeiro fight from last Saturday's "Heavy Artillery" card in St. Louis, Strikeforce has decided to replay the 155-pound brouhaha so that fight fans can finally see what all the fuss is about.
Tune in tonight (May 19) at 6 p.m. ET at Strikeforce.com for a replay of the "Beerbohm vs. Ribeiro" preliminary fight, which did not air on the televised portion of the May 8 broadcast -- much to the chagrin of the home viewing audience.
"Fancy Pants" and "Shaolin" were entrenched in a three-round war that saw the Brazilian come up short on the judges scorecards. Ribeiro contends that he was the victim of questionable scoring and that Beerbohm's split decision win should have gone in his favor.
Perhaps a rematch to settle the score?
In the meantime, be sure to check out the replay at Strikeforce.com a little later tonight. If you missed any of the "Heavy Artillery action from last weekend you can hit up our results and recap here and here.

Andre Pederneiras told he will try to annull the result. I think a convincent win solves the problem. As a matter of fact, Shaolin should follow Marcelinho Garcia’s decision of not fighting in MMA any longer. They’re very good at what they do grappling but are unidimensional in MMA.

What is that very old saying? I hear it all the time but now I'm drawing a blank.... oh yeah..
Don’t leave it in the Judge’s Hands
Stupid fucking rematches
Stop crying about a decision, finish the fight or stfu.
The only rematch that I ever agreed with was Shogun Machida.

why did you agree with that?
Oh right because you thought Shogun won right? So why does your rematch make sense but not someone elses if the majority thought he got ripped off? Hmmmm…

not really
first round pretty even, slight edge to machida tho.
2nd and 3rd machida
4th and 5th shogun.
But hey, shogun won the rematch, so i guess that decision doesn’t matter anymore.

What about BJ’s rematch coming up? I don’t think Frankie won that belt by any means, just got lucky with the judges that were there. Guess Anthony Johnson’s eye poke loss didn’t deserve a rematch either?
