We will poll each fight individually, for 1 day, beginning with opening round Match #1.  MMA Mania has the most knowledgeable MMA online community, so please feel free to post your pick in the comments along with your analysis of how you see the fights breaking down.  Hopefully this will give us something to do on slow news days.

It was extremely hard to come up with seeding for this tourney as Cain, Shane, and Jr all have a good argument for the #2 seed.  For that reason, I put the 3 names in a hat and drew for seeds 2-4.  For the rest of the seedings, I utilized multiple MMA rankings, while also taking styles into consideration.

QF #2:  The one fight that you can never win, is the fight against father time....  Nog is always game, but his pupil proved that it's his time to sine.  JDS handled his mentor with ease, taking  80% of the vote.  He now awaits the winner of QF #4...

QUARTER- FINAL #4:  I think this is the closest to call match-up of the quarters.  Carwin has been an absolute wrecking ball since entering the world of MMA, canning every one of his opponents before the halfway mark of the 1st round...  But its safe to say he has never faced an athlete, the likes of Big Country...  Roy has landed in the UFC on a tear, displaying a deceptively well rounded attack.  Everyone knew Roy had a top level Jits game, but he has put everyone on notice that all he needs is 1 small opening, and its lights out.  lets get to it.
