and i totally understand where people were coming from…and i didnt really want him to do it either but i would have never told him that…but all the criticism from the press and from everyone else never bothered him…it was his family that went through a lot…like his sisters would be at work and they would really be upset and i had several reporters that showed up at my job wanting to interview them and i would have to tell them to get the fuck out…and i had papers and newstations calling my job asking for statements from his family…it was really a pain in the ass…

but that shit never bothered kyle…when you grow up the way he did…being born with limbs that ended at the elbow and knees you’ve pretty much had to overcome every single thing there is, so seeing people say bad things about you really isnt anything compared to having to learn to adapt to the small things we take for granted everyday..like just brushing your teeth, feeding yourself, taking a piss, wiping your ass, washing your hair….

and ive asked him if he wanted to fight again and he said he was just focused on traveling and doing motivational speeches…he also works with veterans from the iraq and afghan wars who lost limbs and are trying to adjust to life without arms and legs that were blown off from bombs and things…

and he really doesnt want to put his family through all the bullshit from the press again, and its also pretty much impossible to find an opponent as well…cause NO ONE wants to be the guy to fight a guy with no arms or legs….cause how the fuck could you win that? if you win then you beat a guy with no arms or legs…who wants that on their resume?

but just spending one day with that dude and you’ll never take your life for granted again…and his sisters are incredible, when you have to grow up with a brother in a condition like that you reach maturity and grow as a person much faster than anyone else your age
