Time to get back to business and see who the Maniacs feel is the cream of the crop in the Heavyweight Division.

We will poll each fight individually, for 1 day, beginning with opening round Match #1.  MMA Mania has the most knowledgeable MMA online community, so please feel free to post your pick in the comments along with your analysis of how you see the fights breaking down.  Hopefully this will give us something to do on slow news days.

It was extremely hard to come up with seeding for this tourney as Cain, Shane, and Jr all have a good argument for the #2 seed.  For that reason, I put the 3 names in a hat and drew for seeds 2-4.  For the rest of the seedings, I utilized multiple MMA rankings, while also taking styles into consideration.

Sorry, for the long delay in tournament postings....  I had shoulder surgery last week and will be in a sling for several weeks....  Accordingly, I apologize for my typing in advance.

Match #8:  In the biggest beatdown of the tourney, Big Ben ran out of time, as Shane cruised through with 94% of the vote.  He now faces the colorful and always impressive Big COUNTRY...

QUARTER- FINAL #1:  This match-up is very interesting.  While Lesnar is undoubtedly the favorite,  Gabe does present some very viable threats.    Gonzo has 1 shot KO power, as well as a ridiculous ground game.  He runs through lesser comp, but seems to have a mental block against top tier fighters.   I won't be surprised if Brock takes this by gnp in the 1st.  But I also wouldn't be surprised to see Gabe pull out a flash KO or sub...  

So lets hear it Maniacs.  Will the favorites move on, or will we see an underdog rise to the top?  You decide.
