30 with the humidity is quite hot! Not scorching, but you’d definitely be sweating without moving. Has there been any word on if they would do a rain delay? Or simply fight and deal with hundreds of complaints/excuses from both fans and fighters?

this idea all sounds honky dory in theory
..but it could be a huge mess if blowing sand, or lighting, or rain, or humidity etc cause legit excuses for a fighters complaints. Add that to the ever growing illegal strikes, and low blows, plus eyepokes and we could be in for a long and controversial night. It’ll be interesting to say the least.

Zuffa will just buy nice weather. fire some money at the sky, out of a solid gold cannon. I don’t think they would have done this without considering weather. must be some kind of provision in place, maybe it’ll have some kind of covering stretched over all of the crucial bits.

In China didn’t they have some thing that they shot up into the clouds to make them drop the precipitation before it hit the main land. I think it was for the Olympics or something. Probably would be a good idea for this, but I’m hoping for rain! How cool would that be? Mostly because it can’t happen in an indoor arena (obviously) and would be so dif. Curious how the fighters would react to such a thing. BRING ON THE THUNDER!!!!!!!!
