Rest, ice, compression, elevation. His trainers are professionals and hopefully had him ice his thigh and leg every 2 hours, wrap it gently in an ACE wrap and elevate it after the fight to speed his recovery. However, from the looks of it, they did not properly do so. The amount of swelling and bruising in his thigh and calf is very serious and is now going to take weeks to heal. Some people have permanent swelling after such an injury. Hoperfully his youth and conditioning will prevent that.
His trainer is making him put heat on it according to one of his interviews which goes against
what doctors told him. Though Master Tong is a MT world champ so he knows how to deal with leg kick treatment in third world settings. He also spends time in a hyperbaric chamber which i don’t understand since there is not actual wound.

i've got over 20 tattoos on my back, chest, shoulder and arms.
i’m white so i like alot of colors. i’ve got 2 shades of purple and 3 shades of brown. (plus many other shades of color) my tattoo guy uses" millineum "colors. mostly animals but i got one large snake wrapped around a dagger. the dagger has some purple in it along with some of my other animals. i got one tattoo that has 11 colors in it.

their is a color called magic magenta. it is a deep reddish color.
It probably has more lasting power than any color i got. this is with millenium colors. some tattoo artists use different brands of colors so ask ahead of time. i’m used to the colors my tattoo guy has.

At some point
You have to acknowledge you’re getting seriously, and possibly permanently, injured and can’t defend yourself. That’s when you should seriously think about swallowing your pride and fighting another day. If that was his head rather than his leg everyone would think he was nuts or the fight would’ve been stopped but because it’s not people, like Cecil Peoples, tend think you can just “walk it off”.

Faber probably put makeup on his leg to make it look worse so his Twitter feed would get more hits. Faber is good at two things, getting beat up on the feet and taking pictures of himself.

I am both a Faber and Aldo fan, both of these guys are incredible, unpredictable & explosive! But im honestly not a fan of how Aldo won this fight. I saw faber being the aggresive fighter in the 1st round i saw him attack first & hit Aldo with 2 or 3 good shots in the face before Aldo even hit him and I was thinking you better guard yourself well cus knowing Aldo he will explode a flurry of shots and KO you out…BUT! i saw Aldo just rely on his LEG KICK THE ENTIRE FIGHT!!!! I know this is MMA and everything goes but man come on you know what it is to win a fight based on LEG KICKS! then after Faber couldnt even walk is when he hit him with other shots and to top it off he didnt even FINISH the fight! Im an Aldo fan as well like i mentioned above but if im a fighter and i mess up a guys leg to the point where he can barelt stand on his own 2 feet you better believe im finishing the fight…but thats just my opinion………….anyone else out there

Ironically, that was the event where Faber was dethroned by Brown. Also on the card was Aldo vs. Brookins. The fight still hasn’t seen much air time, but I can assure you one thing, the leg kicks Brookins took were absolutely BRUTAL! I swear, he had to be carried out and down the aisle by his whole camp! He was getting his leg destroyed and then got TKO’d to end the night, which I think was the better option to get the hell out of the cage. He was carried by me down the aisle, and his leg was already black and purple.
Aldo is a beast. Faber is also a beast.
