FightMetric is awesome
I’d love it if MMA was able to move toward a system where they could use this scoring in real time. While there is still a certain amount of subjectivity involved in determining “effectivness” of grappling/striking in the fightmetric scoring, a lot of it is really tied to quantifiable data based on what techniques are more likely to end fights. It’s quite interesting how they measure things.
With FightMetric the Korean Zombie wouldn’t have experienced a straight up robbery last night:

I wanna see Zombie/Garcia's stats
hopefully it work soon
I would also really like to see the stats on that fight!~
I bet Zombie and thought it was a close and really entertaining fight….I got no quarrls with the decision, it could have went either way, and won big money on the event as a whole, so Im not Hating on the decision. Just curious!
Fightmetric is the Shiznit!
completely agreed
on the other hand he beat him up REAL good and made clear the guy has absolutely no chance
Lesnar > [Carwin] ---> Lesnar > [Velasquez] ---> Lesnar > [JDS]
Overeem will NOT show up on May 15th! Mark my words. Sig stays til then.
Aldo did not want to make a mistake,
He knew Faber was hurt and that making a mistake with a guy who is not only as good as Faber is but also desperate would have been stupid. He played it safe and there is no reason why he should have done anything different.

I had a nice chunk of change riding on Aldo so I had no problems whatsoever with how he fought that fight! Could he have taken Faber out? ABSOLUTELY!
but it was still a dominating and very entertaining performance if you ask me!
You guys know that it's just some people that write down what they think hit and what didn't right?
It’s better than nothing, but you guys are making it out as if its some kind of artificial intelligence that is super accurate at watching the fight.

Well at least that have a defined set of criteria and keep track of # of strikes, grappling techniques, etc.
As opposed to judges that base their scores more on “general impressions” across very vague and broad criteria like "effective striking/grappling, aggressiveness, and octagon control." I realize we’re not talking about a super-powered math robot but still it would be a big improvement in my opinion than the system that lets the Korean Zombie lose that fight last night. Not trying to take anything away from Garcia, dude is a gamer but damn, that decision really grinds my gears. But I’ll quit bitchin’ now, just part of the game I guess, he should have finished him.

"At Last…Now You Too Can Learn The Remarkable Secrets Of How To Knock Out A Thug Without Even Touching Them …Using These Near Magical New ‘No Touch’ Knockout Secrets!"….. $29.95…. do people actually buy that!? I just don't understand
How you swing like a 5 year old for an entire fight, look and fight like crap, but win 2-1 when he get backed down the entire fight. Only time Garcia tried walking Zombie down, was first couple seconds of the fight, Zombie hits Garcia, and Garcia doesnt take charge for the entire fight
WOW........
Jung won his fight…….
any chance we catch this for free up against the next SF card?
I get my ass kicked for money, all you gotta do is talk motherfucker.... Rampage Pride GP03
