Round 5 UFC action figures 'Series 3' featuring Franklin, Silva, Nogueira and more coming summer 2010
Round 5 is back with their new "Series 3" line of UFC action figures and figurines, featuring Rich "Ace" Franklin, Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira, Diego "The Nightmare" Sanchez, Anderson "Spider" Silva and Wanderlei Silva.
"The Axe Murderer" will also get his own special PRIDE limited edition figurine featuring the gloves and trunks Silva wore during his championship run overseas.
Round 5 will also unveil its new "Versus" line with battle scenes re-created from some of the greatest match-ups in MMA history along with an Octagon segment display.
The "Versus" series figurine pairs include:
Quinton Jackson vs. W. Silva (UFC 92)
Georges St. Pierre vs. B.J. Penn (UFC 94)
Frank Mir vs. Brock Lesnar (UFC 100)
Tito Ortiz vs. Chuck Liddell (UFC 66)
Ortiz vs. Liddell (TUF 11)
Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar (Ultimate Fighter Season Finale)
Jackson vs. Silva (PRIDE 28)
Series 3 is scheduled to be available in stores by summer 2010 while the "Versus" line is expected to be available on retail shelves in time for the 2010 Holiday season.
From Round 5 President Damon Lau:
"The 'Ultimate Collector' line has been a big hit with fans, and we're pleased to be able to bring another set of popular fighters out on the heels of the first two this year. The 'Versus' series will be the first time we have packaged pairs of fighters, and they will be completely new representations of each, incorporating elements specific to those matchups."
The new individual and "Versus" collectibles will be presented in UFC-themed packaging that includes action photos of each respective fighter's memorable moments and a short biography.
"Ultimate Collector" Series 2 will first be available at Target stores beginning this month and at other leading retailers across North America in May.
A list can be found at www.Round5MMA.com.

i wish...
these were around when i was younger… i use to have the WWE ones :P
Pathetic!
As usual, they look nothing like the fighters. I’ve seen figurines that look EXACTLY like the real people (ie LOST characters) but these are always way off. You wouldn’t even recognize these faces if they didn’t tell you who they’re supposed to be.
The only thing they got right was the size of Anderson’s head.
nogueira's is the best imo

It's actually not a bad idea..
I’ve seen Pride Mirko Cro Cop action figure selling for $200 and Pride Wand selling for $275. That probably has more to do with the fact that PRIDE isn’t around anymore but still, if the sport gets as big as Dana predicts an A. Silva, Nog, Rich Franklin etc.. figure might go for a couple hundred bucks a piece down the road.

naw its usually guys that are worries what ppl will think
Gotta always do the ‘macho’ thing just in case so someone doesn’t call em a douche or a fag. Lol I’ve always just done whatever the fuck I want, and it seems to work out well. But then again I know who I am, so I’m not concerned what other ppl think of me, especially guys lol, I used to always get asked “Hey Worby you get that outfit in the girls section?”, my reply always was I’m more concerned what your girlfriend thinks of it then a bunch of guys. Lol. Insecurity is a funny thing.

Trapped in an abusive marriage..
The wife beats him black and blue; “you put the toilet seat down, or I will put YOU down!” the kids don’t respect him. A prisoner in his own home, he waits, his only friend a small Cobra Commander action figure from his youth; nastalgic, a reminder of better times… Overwhelmed by shame and guilt he pushes even Cobra away by bashing the very thing he cherishes most to kill that last small vestibule of light in his life and let it all go.

Reminded of this overweight guy wearing a Tapout shirt at burger joint starting a fight with a skinny customer. It gets hilarious when the fat guy gets taken down by the skinny kid who just started learning BJJ.

you just need more blackberry experience my friend
Go to the pic, click on it, it’ll take you to a separate window with just the pic, then click the blackberry button (7 dots to left of trackball/sensor) and select zoom in. Keep zooming in til you can see better, then simply scroll around the pic with ur cursor and hit the back button a couple times when you’re done. Its pretty fast and requires little to no download time to do this. I steal and save any of the good pics the regs put on.

Really? Diego an action figure?
Come the fuck on! WTF has the guy ever done other than take an ass whooping of a life time by BJ? Is there a way you can take off and add on 15 pounds whenever Diego realizes he can’t beat the contenders or the champion?
But a true champion, face to face with his darkest hour, will do whatever it takes to rise above. A man fights, and fights, and then fights some more. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies. - Kenny Powers
