I think counter programming with re-runs is really stupid.
I cant watch the re-run of a sporting event when I already know who wins. As far as I am concerned, if you are a real fan you watch it live that day unless you have paid for it, recorded it and watch it later that day or the next. Hendo, Shields, Gegard etc. free on TV tonight = awesome, cant freakin wait!!!

but i guess it (ufc) gets some casual fans (who don’t get the ppv) to watch it instead. though i’m shocked that 6% of maniacs picked ufc in the poll above (and 16% aren’t going to watch either tonight… tsk tsk :)

they have been advertising pretty good lately and they have rep from their first event. the more shows they have, the more their name is out there.

The NCAA tourny they advertised quite a bit. I expect them to do fairly well, although I am interested to see how they fare without Fedor. Dont really know why anyone would watch UFC 110 over SF tonight

I am putting SF at about 4.5-5 mil viewers and UFC 110 at about 1.5-2.5 mil viewers… The people who dont know jack about MMA will watch the UFC re-run

Do the ufc realize that SF is putting on 3 title fights 4 free? this is a bad move 4 the ufc. i think that SF is inferior 2 ufc n every way possible but at the same time they r putting on a good card. the fact of the matter is that ppl who didn’t c 110 will just DVR it & watch it later.

I was sooo drunk off my ass in mexico during this card i cant recall watching the main event. i just recall the ax murderer beating Bisping and then i bought the entire table i was at few rounds of shots and that was it no main event lol.

I can’t wait to see Hendo fight it’s been a long time from his deadly KO over the count, and Gegard I think will have his toughest test to date Aoki and Melendez is a great match up as well.

Not sure if you guys saw this but when I look at CBS it’s showing the fights at 10pm Mountain time When I look at Spike TV it’s showing it’s UFC at 7pm Mountain….did you guys check your channels, is it the same everywhere else?

Watching Strikeforce and not watching or recording UFC. Already watched it so no reason why i would record or watch it again especially since NoG lost =(
