I am very interested in this fight because after that we will see Fitch gets riped again if he passes for Thiago Alves.

I'm sure GSP is looking for a high light reel KO here

I mean with those kind of odds, it would almost look bad for him is Hardy can survive the first round let alone get to a decision. I also hear that BJ has been looking for a KO and expects to get it in the Edgar fight, I just think these are two very tough fights for the “invincible” champs (Hardy has more of a chance to win imo).

if hardy gets beat, they should let him clean out the AKA boys. never rated swick, fitch needs to learn another aproach( less boring), kos just rates himself too highly.

I think Kos and Fitch would tool Hardy.

But by the way does anyone here really feel Hardy will win?

NO. Serra was the best thing to have happened to GSP.

I think so too.

It was the bitchslap he needed to push himself to immortality and beyond.

it just takes one punch to end a fight.

hardy isnt going to submit gsp, he wont out wrestle him, but, he can KO him. any puncher can KO anyone else. we’ve seen it all before.

YES. It gave him the desire to gameplan (in addition to his crazy work ethic and physical skills). Dangerous combo, indeed.

Serra was the best thing that happened to GSP..........

but not his fans!!! Now all we get is take down and g & p!

by MBOW on Mar 9, 2010 8:48 AM EST up reply actions

I really think Hardy has this in the bag.

GSP will overlook him no matter what he says, and when he realizes that its closer than he thought, it will be too late.

by JRE on Mar 8, 2010 4:43 PM EST up reply actions

GSP won't make that mistake twice

He underestimated Serra and paid the ultimate price, even though that loss was the reason he’s where he is and who he is today.

GSP finishes this fight before the 3rd.

8 months of training and 8 pounds of pure muscle

Equals loads of trouble for Hardy. I hope this time off has made GSP hungry for a killer finish.

GSP wins big

Oh I can Hardy wait. I’m getting Hardy just thinking bout it.

I'm sure weight cutting always sucks.

This will suck + 8. My concern is ring rust…it’s never been favourable to anyone. I don’t care who it is – there’s always a bit of rust. Elite training partners or not. And when expectations are extremely high, those nerves may be a bit more difficult to keep in check. But GSP is a pro – I’m sure he’s got the weight and confidence under control.

Welterweight Possible Fights This Year

After Daley vs Kosh, GSP vs Hardy, Fitch Vs Alves … I predict the following fights

GSP Vs Daley for title after Daley KO’s Kosh
Hardy Vs Fitch
Alves Vs Serra

Also got Ricardo Almeida in the mix, maybe him he beats Brown,
Almeida Vs Paulo Thiago
Matt Huges Vs Diego Sanchez (I think this has a good chance of happening in the summer)
Martin Kampmaan Vs Koscheck

by Apocacryptic on Mar 8, 2010 5:42 PM EST reply actions

Alves Vs Serra?

I don’t think we will ever see that.

I Dont Wanna See that.

And I see GSP immediately shooting vs Hardy. I dont think GSP wants to strike a powerful striker. Also… I watched GSP vs Jay Hieron last night. Do u guys remember Rogan and Goldie talking about Hierons wrestling and how he’s dhrug off GSPs shoots? Man how this guy has evolved into a wrestling beast.

by AintNoSunshine on Mar 8, 2010 6:10 PM EST up reply actions

Please tell me how Hardy is a "powerful" striker - PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

The man could not take out the human skeleton or Davis…..and his claim to fame is Rory Markham??? Please also tell me that Rory is on the same level as GSP. GSP will pick Hardy apart before he takes him out for some severe GNP elbows.

I watched GSP vs Fitch and GSP vs Penn II this weekend and there is no comparison to the way he fought in his last fight.

yeah i don't see any of those fights happening this year!

the only possible will be kos vs kampman, thats IF kos loses to daley (which he won’t)

by sac165 on Mar 8, 2010 6:06 PM EST up reply actions

If Kos loses to Daley I see him getting a rematch with Paulo.
