its not really much of a shock that jens is in the situation he is in…i wasnt too familiar with him when he returned to the ufc against lauzon…but since then never once was i impressed with him…
I am the greatest, I said that even before I knew I was.
I agree Newfie that he ain’t had animpressive fight since then but it’s a shame he had to end this way, watch some of his old fights he will impress u then. I’ve always been a fan and will remember the good times not just the bad. Thanks jens

Nice summary
Jens is up there IMO. A good ambassador for the sport. A guy that gave everything he had to MMA (and for me one of the best TUF coaches). He was a top notch fighter and generally a good guy.
After his return to the UFC Octagon....Not so good, shame really.

give the guy a break............
9 times out of 10 he’s allways put on a good show, and if it weren’t for trailblazers like him promoting the sport with his persona and character we wouldn’t have the sport developing into the entity it is now. if this is the end of the road for “lil evil”, then i would personally thank him for every fight he has ever had, and wish him good luck for the future.

What are you talking about give the guy a break, I said he was the shit before, not so much now, what is wring with that statement??
I then showed his record to back up my statement and ended in ‘shame really’. So I think I was giving him a break.

sorry, my mistake, i misread......
i thought you said he “was shit” before, not “the shit” please accept my humble apologies.

time to to pack it up
before he gets himself seriously injured, he’s barely even a stepping stone at this point
Shame what's happened to Pulver
He’s a nice guy and was a great fighter in his prime but realistically he should have retired after the Faber decision loss. That would have been a good way to go, taking a dominant champion and a p4p great at the time the distance in a huge event would have been a worthy way for Pulver to end his career, rather than on the back of several quick submission losses to nobodies. He shouldn’t continue fighting as he can’t compete with the younger guys anymore and there’s no need for him to taint his legacy and risk injury by continuing to fight. I’d rather see him retire and become a full-time announcer for either the UFC or WEC than continue to lose fights against guys that a prime Pulver would have destroyed.

"Nogueira is probabaly the best HW of all time"
Dana White, proving that he's clueless about Australian sports, has never heard of Fedor and is still trying to hype up TUF 10.
Not done
Jens needs to move down to the smaller shows and work on additional revenue streams. He still has a name in MMA but he cant pull the trigger anymore. DDoies he own a gym yet?
agreed
He’s still got the heart and the desire, probably needs the money to. Just needs to tone down the level of competitiona little, smaller regional shows would be perfect for him and he will fill the seats!
He’s going to throw a liver kick ~Bas~

Dont be so down
on ur self jens my boy look at the bright side i mean hell u could always move back up 2 LW & go 2 strikfarce & become a champion bcause of how pathetic they r….sorry but i cant help myself bashing strikfarce is n my nature.

All you do is criticise SF
Jens wouldn’t have a hope at beating any of the top LWs in SF or Dream, he can’t compete with FWs in the WEC nevermind bigger and better fighters like Gil, Thomson, Aoki, Hansen and Alvarez. You have no clue about SF, they have some quality fighters as their champions and their co-promotion with Dream is helping to produce quality fights. Diaz, Melendez and Shields are all worthy champions and top contenders are signing with SF, like it or not. Just because they aren’t in the UFC doesn’t mean that Zuffa employed fighters are better.

I have no clue?
strikfarce has quality champions? what n the hell r u talkin bout do i need 2 remind u that fuckin babalu was at 1 point their LH champion & that bobby southworth the who babalu took the title from was the champ a guy who couldn’t even win tuf & couldn’t compete n the ufc was their LH champ nuff said….again u may not like the things i say about strikfarce but u not liking it doesn’t stop it from being the truth…..and as far as dream making them better the fact that they have 2 consistanly use dream & m1 global fighters only further prove my point.

The sport passed him up,
He nevered improved his ground game and it finally bit him on the ass! I still love the guy though.
