And? Big Deal!

WOW
He can…………JUMP off a 2 foot high (or low) bench. I must remember to tell my 2 year old son he’s got some competition!!
It's a balance drill. It's harder than it looks.

Would anybody care to elaborate?
At least compared to a normal squat with weights. I mean he’s barely going parallel.
these are HARD
this is plyometrics – how much downward force do you think he’s generating from 2 and a half feet, he’s 185lbs+ – so maybe twice that … then finishing off with a jump from standing squat position
you guys try and do this – youll be surprised how challenging it is
Gimme A Break
That is nonsense. Anytime you are using body weight against a solid surface that is “plyo”.
Fitch should be doing the exercise the other way around. Begin the exercise seated on a box and moving to a standing jump up onto another box would be a much more effective exercise.
That exercise in the video is pretty much senseless and does nothing really to condition the athlete.
Oh and BJ PennFan…after watching that last Penn video of him grunting and screaming while pushing 2 25lb plates tells me Penn is gonna gas in his fight against Edgar.
i grunt with 95lbs
On my 100th rep

I think you missed my point
judging someone by them grunting and struggling isn’t sufficient cause to discredit their strength. At the end of my workouts I can barely lift the muscle group I was working out much less weight on top of that.

I'm doing plyometrics right now
My fat ass is pushing awfully hard against this bar stool. Fitch and me are workout buddies!
No way in hell alves beats fitch with this kind of training !
This had 2 be the sickest video of all time. All over Wands training’

dont justify this guys lol this was useless
you know what else is hard? all training!!!! doesnt mean i need to see a video of every fighter doin 50 pushups or other crap like this. that was pitiful.
worbanizer
It’s not hard? Please post some vids of you breezing through a plyo workout. You think this was all the training he was doing? That being said, I don’t like Fitch’s style of fighting and the dude is such a non-athlete it’s not even funny. Would’ve been much more impressive with Koscheck doing the exercise.
Squat jumps “exploding” is a great exercise, but i always thought it was suppose to be reps in 30-50 secs. Thanx Fitch!
Useless
I don’t get why Fitch is trying to become some kind of “athlete”
at the end of the day all he’s going to be doing is taking people down, laying on them and winning unanimous decisions, and he’s been doing that just fine without all this mumbo jumbo
