The only reason they signed him
is so Skrickforce couldn’t put him against Hershel Walker. I just pray to god that they put him against a legit threat and not Kimbo
I doubt they would pay him as much as the ufc
And im guessing conseco vs walker is more of a draw for less money

I want Ricardo Arona to sign with the UFC and his first fight should be James Toney. This is a win win scenario for MMA

If I was Dana I would have created a TUF with non-mma athletes or fit celebrities and make Toney fight his way into the UFC so it would be legit and maybe these non-mma athletes like canseco who thinks they can do mma ,we can all watch them fail in training and the house and have special guest coaches like they did in TUF 4. such as Penn, Mir, Hughes, Liddell, anyone but rampage. Have on team mma fighters and one non mma fighters but other athletes
I think if the UFC did this and got big sport athletes like Toney, may weather, walker, pro wrestlers, and maybe fit celebrities and call it instead of dancing with the stars fighting with the stars just joking guys it would be huge
espn and other sport casting networks would follow and comment and broadcast on it.

i guarantee if he signed to strikeforce most of the people here who are behind Dana signing him would call it a freakshow!!
I do really like the signing I have just seen a lot of hypocrites on here for the passed couple of days and I had to point it out.

I don’t understand why peaple have anything against any of these guys fighting, from Kimbo to Walker to Toney. I would of loved to see a Toney vs AA fight or Toney vs Rogers fight. Yes Dana has said shit about freakshows on other organizations signings but really anyone with a half a brain shouldn’t read into what Dana is saying about any other organization.

Mma = mixed martial arts, plural.
So you can’t be a mixed martial arts’er or a mixed martial arts’ist.
But if you are using Mma as a word not its spelled out full meaning, then you could use mma’ers or mma’ists.

& they should get a really slow ref who won’t stop the fight until Tooney’s big fat head is a bloody mess

They saying on BE that Toney's debut is on April 17th against Kimbo, and no Swick v Serra fight, both have surgery soon.

We know he is a fighter and we know he can box and hit hard….I personally am not going to say he cant win in the UFC, especially against Kimbo.
