This fight has snoozer written all over it

Everyone is in love with Dan and only remember his KO of Bisping. People seem to forget that decision Dan is usually the one that shows up.

I have never watched one boring Hendo fight

I’ve seen Decisions but they are not snoozefests. I have not seen all of his fights though

Which fight of his would you call boring?

by Bigger Zino on Mar 3, 2010 10:24 AM EST up reply actions

True

Hendo has a lot of decisions on his record, but he also hits very hard with both hands. It’s worth watching just for that threat, as opposed to Jake’s blanket effect.

WTF

“I’ve been training here and there” and now I’m trying to get in shape…

If I were a professional, in a sport where, if you lose, you get really really hurt, I’d stay in shape.

Just sayin’.

True but...

He hasn’t fought in like 7 months or so and has had to switch organizations… He didn’t even know when his next fight was so I think he made the smart move by not over training really

to be fair

His definition of “in shape” and yours probably vary.

Let’s hope his definition and Tito’s definition of being in shape vary. I like his attitude, no big mouth… I’m sure he’s fine vs. Shields

He always brings it when he fights. It will be a struggle to go to the ground and then it will be a battle for GnP position…. I am seeing this as a boring fight. With that being said… I will still be watching it in the hopes that Jake loses some teeth… or even an arm

it’s not a boring fight to me when the fighters are interesting and it’s for the title etc. I don’t mind if the fight stays at the ground, it’ll still be exciting to watch.

Knowing that they fight under MMA rules and could do all kinds of punching and kicking makes it a “real”, all out fight and if it’s at the ground, then that’s where it is.

I sure am wanting that to happen. I really don’t like Shields as a fighter. I can’t really figure out why, but I just don’t. Not just because he is a boring fighter either. I have always liked Hendo tho. Hes old school and comes to fight. Can’t ask for more than that imo

Knock out

Dear Hendo,

Please knock out Jake (the blanket) “Bisping style”.

Thank You!

Not the most charismatic guy Hendo

But he is still one of my favorite fighters. As far as this fight goes, I give Shields about a 15-20% chance of getting a sub, only way he can win that I can see. The thing about Shields, he usually fights from dominant top position. Don’t think he will be able to get Dan in top position to much, which will make it a long night for him.

How could anyone comepare shield with gsp?

Do me a favor an watch gsp/miller then watch miller/shields, you’ll know what I mean. Shield hugged miller for dear life and won the match, huggy style, like huggy bear. This is MMA so who knows how the fight will go but anything is possible, shield could catch dan in a sub or dan could ko shields.

I like Hendo as a fighter but

other than that God, he puts me to sleep. No wonder UFC didn’t pay him what he wanted… so boring.

Fedor played Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun and won... but still avoids the UFC!
