Nate Diaz: Kurt Pellegrino 'is a traitor' (Video)

Could we possibly see a rematch of their 2008 scrap now that Diaz is considering a move back down to lightweight?

sounds like a complete twat!

surprised the hell out off me tho pulling off the win over Rory. glad to see him wanting to go back and forth between weight classes, makes for me exciting fights, as i dont see him ever been a threat for Gold in either divisions.

If this is him sober, imagine him hammered

But I do like the Diaz brothers. They don’t give a shit about anything

i love the diaz bros they’re fucking awesome. Incredibly hard workers, also, despite their love of marijuana.

Can you explain to me why you think they are awesome? (seriously)

well to a person who smokes no weed ever like me

…They are far from heroes or valuable speakers, but at least Nick is very talented. As for nate?, not so much…

But I did find the Kurt call out humorous as I dislike Kurts chotchy attitude as well.

They're both well rounded bad arses who will fight anyone at anytime at any size

They talk shit and back it up, beating top guys and making it exciting. They’re the sort of guys who were born to fight and it’s great to see them having successful careers and making something of themselves. They entertain me with their hilarious interviews and great performances, especially Nick though Nate proved on Saturday that he has a very bright future at 170 as well. On top of that they don’t care about what anyone has to say about them, they say what they think and mean every word. I’m a fan of all of the lads from Cesar Gracie’s but out of that group I like the Diaz Bros the most.

lmao

they’re just so much fun. They don’t give a fuck about the establishment or what’s “politically correct” so you gotta love that. They say what comes into their heads. They’re unabashed that way.

That shit about Pellegrino who is a cool kid too, though, is pretty lame. Memo to Nate: not everyone is going to like your special Gracie camp buddy. Get over it.

i hate hate hate nate. i even hate that rhymed

..And I could easily never see another nate fight and not care. He occupies card time with his subpar 50/50 streak.

Nate's awesome and brings it in every fight

After that superb display against a much bigger Markham he gave me a reason to watch his next fight, can’t say the same for Fitch or GSP especially the boring idiot who shaves his beard so that fans don’t recognise him in hotels and whines about title fights when he can’t finish guys who are barely top 20 in his division.

All the Diaz vids are hard to watch

Their ADHD is terrible…reminds me of the crackheads I used to see at the ER psych ward I used to work at…the shit is exhausting.

Why does diaz talk like that?

by Mississauga MMA on Mar 28, 2010 1:15 PM EDT reply actions

he talks like everyone else in stockton

I had a surprise party for my wife last night, her family from stockton came down. Her cousin (a female) could do an interview, I could blindfold you guys, and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between her and Nate. funny shit!

they must smoke alot of good stuff in Stockton

IDK, but look it up

it’s the most violent city, most miserable city, most foreclosures, most porn watched etc in the U.S. I think they improved to 2nd most violent city this year

by kevjack115 on Mar 28, 2010 3:45 PM EDT up reply actions

yea and i live in Sac

scary stuff knowing they’re so close. “local violence” news stories tend to always come from Stockton

by Wingblade on Mar 28, 2010 4:06 PM EDT up reply actions

I hate going up there.

we could pay cash for the nicest neighborhood in stockton (a big ass house), only problem is that the nicest area has the ghetto in their back yard. I always joke that it’s like “I am legend” up there, my son (he’s 8) really believes we need to leave before dark. not really, but he goes along with it pretty well!

by kevjack115 on Mar 28, 2010 4:29 PM EDT up reply actions

ha! good boy lol

but then again, without Stockton it would probly just migrate north and my quaint little Carmichael neighborhood would be over run.. and we wouldnt have the nicest boys on the block in the Diaz brothers

funny thing is

Nate isn’t like that in person at all, he’s actually very quiet and soft spoken.
Nick is same in person, very respectful and quiet. called me sir quite a few times in every conversation we’ve ever had

I guess the fame thing is just not for them.

by D_Smith on Mar 28, 2010 5:18 PM EDT up reply actions

they are def not looking for fame

I see them at places you’d never see “famous” people. they are just normal stocktonians except they have more money than most in stockton.

thanks! lol

oh it can still happen.

Their both subpars that will always be at the level their currently at. And Diaz losing 3 in a row is not a stretch either. He is always good for 2-3 losses in a row then a win or 2 blah blah. Rinse repeat.

The Gracies and their students don't like people bailing on their gyms

Reminded me of the infamous Ralph Gracie rant about BJ Penn the “motherfucking traitor”. I thought it was funny anyway, no need for a rematch though as Nate is better off at 170 plus he’s already choked out and flipped off Kurt once, no need for him to do it again.

Personally I usually hate the haters... but to be honest I think I hate the Diaz brothers...

Why ? Every time they talk, they find an excuse for every losses they had in the past. In their minds they think they should have won all of them. What a conspiracy !!! lol They should swallow their pride a little and try to become better. They think they are the Gods of mma but they are obviously not. They have talent for sure though… but it’s flying in smoke and excuses !!! Let’s hear your LOVE about them and your HATE about me saying that…

by facekick on Mar 28, 2010 4:41 PM EDT reply actions

I hate them

and they stymie me with their style and how it keeps winning them fights.

I’d like to see Nick back in the UFC, he’d make an interesting addition to MW or WW.
Probably MW not that his brother is WW.

I would love to add Nick into the WW mix again.

Same here

They don’t behave like politicians like other fighters who will say anything to get the crowd on their side, the Diaz Bros will say what they think all of the time. Those 2 are hilarious and it’s refreshing to see 2 guys who are genuine and don’t care what others think about them.

How could Ariel let that one go?

That was hilarious and well random, that’s why I like Ariel doing interviews he doesn’t let opportunities like that slip.

Explain

How did Nate get lucky? Was it a lucky triangle? It always drives me mad when people dismiss a win as being “lucky”, get over it the better man won and would win again in a rematch.

Why

does he even consider lightweight an option? Diaz is a name suited for 170 obviously. And yeah he may have puffed one before the interview ha, he deserves it.

Good job Holland

The Pellegrino stuff was such a SMALL part of this interview. Way to bait us into watching this. Like UFC using Kimbo to promote the last TUF.
