It’s not racism, it’s called an observation. She’s the first black UFC girl, that is her most identifying/distinguishing characteristic to date. If she were an amputee, no one would be whining when someone called her “that one legged chick”.

Im a social work student and to be honest its not the ideal termonology but its not racist, calling someone coloured is way worse, many theorists refer to african americans as black, its used as a method to work out inequality and discrimination.
Its something i dont necessarily agree with but everyone is placed in boxes these days, whether we like it or not. Fill out a form for a job, credit card etc and it will ask you what you see yourself as and believe me ‘black’ is an option!!
