I was thinkin...
“You better not make me wait till jan 27th” lol
Oh, yes, Meg, yes-yes yes, everything was going swimmingly for you until this. Yes, yes, THIS is the thing that will ruin your reputation, not your years of grotesque appearance, or your awkward social graces, or that Felix Ungerish way you clear your sinuses, no no no, it's THIS. Do you hear yourself talk? I might kill you tonight.
lol
and you think you offer something other than a jab at GSP to this forum. Guess you’re both dumb, only difference is GSP is good looking, rich and world champ, ur just dumb!
He had me confused last night on the PRIMETIME show, he said Ardy is a brawler but sounded like brother.
For some reason Serra can’t say Hardy either and just goes with Ardy as well.
But a true champion, face to face with his darkest hour, will do whatever it takes to rise above. A man fights, and fights, and then fights some more. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies. - Kenny Powers
I love gsp...
But his interviews are mostly awful….poor guym seems so nervous……

I'm with you
Any french-canadians on here have any insight as to whether his interviews where he speaks french are any better?
I'm not French Canadian but I am a Canadian that speaks a little French....there is a diff
his interviews in French are better but still vague, dry and very balck and white.
Fedor invented a language that incorporates Sambo and Kimuras.
So next time FEDOR is kicking your ass, don't be offended or hurt, he may be just trying to tell you he likes your hat.
Still vague, dry and very black and white
So no, not better then. lol

Well i am and he's the same in french.
The only difference is that he doesn’t have problem with the words. Same talk with same answers…
A very simple guy focus on his career.
I'm not French Canadian either but I can say ever since he messed up his comment to Matt Hughes when he said, "I was not impressed with your performance...."
He meant to say, “You won but not in an impressive fashion,” or something similar. GSP still seems to be concerned about what might get lost in his translation so he sticks to his regular routine.
I could understand that a few years ago but not now. He can say whatever he wants and just leave it up to the masses to figure out. Who the hell is going to argue with him??
GSP doing interviews reminds me of my wife's analogy of Manny Pacquiao
When Manny talks sometimes Filipinos are embarrassed with his terrible english. She says the toughest part of the fight for Manny is the interviews before and after the fight and I believe this to be the same with GSP and both situations make me LAUGH!! Haha.
I don’t mind that he’s nervous, I like him the better for it. Like last night on the preview, he said “I’m scared before fights. I don’t want to lose in front of everyone.” He’s being honest, and it’s refreshing. I’d rather hear someone admit they’re nervous instead of talking sh-t and hyping themselves up.
He’s honest and down to earth. That’s rare these days.
ya thats true.
I don’t like GSP but that is something true champions usually admit. Like Fedor says everyone gets nervous, it’s all about how you handle that.

good post ella
It really is true. I’m not a huge GSP fan but you have to respect anyone who can be honest with themselves. I would never judge GSP for being nervous and the fact that he admits it is awesome…good for him!

sorry guys
I’m straight…i didn’t really think of it that way, but I’m not going to put the effort in to changing it, so just don’t look at it if you don’t want to, I don’t know what to say…

For those of you in Toronto....
Where’s the best place to watch this fight? I usually have a few buddies over, smoke a few, drink a few and watch on TV. On Saturday I have friends in from out of town and want to hit up a pub or somewhere decent. Any suggestions?? Thanks.
Im in Toronto Dug.
The only place I once watched the fights that wasn’t at a friend’s house, was at the SportsBar just west of StClair/Yonge on the south side of StClair. Pretty decent crowd. But that was a long time ago, so not sure what happens there nowadays.

Don't bother
Watching a GSP fight in a bar in Toronto is NUTS! I watched him win the title the first time in a bar and it was WAY too packed. That’s just my opinion though.
I luv his interviews, GSP busts me up!!!
His broken english is funny to me………“fairly squarely”!!! that one near made me piss myself.
LOL
did it say that with an accent? :)

glad espn seems to be covering each ppv a little bit more
its a steep climb but the ufc is doing it. i missed the gsp part but woke up in time to catch the frank mir interview, espn seemed to only repeat the part about him wanting to kill lesnar in the next hour…
i was a little surprised to hear lesnar say that he expects struve to be the champ some day but he is young and has a lot of potential, if he keeps gaining weight he’s got a shot but the hw division is so stacked right now it just too me back a little to actually hear him say struve and champ in the same sentence…
