The only issue I have with the new system
Is the part how the game will just look at Energy and submission defense to getting out of submisions when really it should also look at power. Some guys can power out of submissions. Should it be rated as high as submission defense, no but it should be taken into consideration.
the last game..
was so bias towards the cpu, they can submitt u at anytime, while u need to hav them dying with no energy and low sub defense to even hope to submit them..
For what profit is it to man if he gains the world , and loses his own soul?

I try to play without the stamina bar on...
big mistake I was getting subbed like crazy and I could never sub the cpu. Once I turned it on though I was subbing the cpu like crazy and not getting subbed nearly as much.
Oh, yes, Meg, yes-yes yes, everything was going swimmingly for you until this. Yes, yes, THIS is the thing that will ruin your reputation, not your years of grotesque appearance, or your awkward social graces, or that Felix Ungerish way you clear your sinuses, no no no, it's THIS. Do you hear yourself talk? I might kill you tonight.
I only got sub'd by the computer at the start of my careers before i got my sub defence and power up
If you have no power or bad sub defence you could get subd right away , but other then that the computer would get smashed

Yeah
The no stamina bar thing seemed like a cool idea at first but if you were in a real fight you would be able to tell how tired you are and have a good idea of how tired your opponent is.

After u learn everything..
It’s really an incredible game to play. But it takes time. There’s the major/minor transitions, transition reversals, ad how those all tie into and lead into each position. Add a good shine and good timing to the mix and your ground game will be set! Striking is a diff story. There’s soooooooooo much depth to it, with how the physics system is set up. You can never master everything on the stand up, there’s always room to work on timing, distance, and the endless striking combos.
A lot off ppl hate on 09, but it’s honestly the most in-depth and hardest games to master.
Can’t wait for the new one!!

i still dont use meter bar
The comp doesn’t sub me anymore, can barely even take me down, I think its more fun like that.
But whatever works for the player I guess.

Looking Forward to Playing
I just like the idea of new characters. Like in Madden when the newest Drafted players are in each new game.
I can't wait for this game.
I’m going to miss button mashing to get out of submissions though, I’m rubbish at the analog rotation in submission situations.
I found the best way is to slap your palm on the analog stick and rotate that way..
you can go much faster than just using thumbs…though im sure lotsa others use this method as well…
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
Same here
Usually I just ended up with sore palms and the occasional submission, even then only with highly ranked grapplers like Maia and Mir. The submissions were far too hard to pull off in my opinion and were the weakest part of the game.

"We just had our best season (of TUF) last season and it was season 10"
"Nogueira is probabaly the best HW of all time"
Dana White, proving that he's clueless about Australian sports, has never heard of Fedor and is still trying to hype up TUF 10.
