With the killer match-ups being put together by Dana White & the UFC, it's hard to choose which of the next three PPVs are the most anticipated.  Saturday is just around the corner, and along with it is UFC 111 featuring the powerhouse bouts: St-Pierre vs. Hardy for the Welterweight Championship & Mir vs. Carwin for the Interim Heavyweight Championship.  I despise the fact that I will miss this event because I will be at work where the closest television is blocks away.

So I ask you, if you could only watch ONE of the three events (112,113,114) which would you choose?  Continue reading for event details & poll -

Lets start of with the immediate follower of 111:

- UFC 112 -

Date: Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 10 p.m. ET on pay-per-view (PPV)
Location: Concert Arena, Ferrari World, Yas Island

Main event:

185 lbs.: UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva vs. Demian Maia

Main card (Televised):

155 lbs.: UFC Lightweight Champion BJ Penn vs. Frankie Edgar
170 lbs.: Matt Hughes vs. Renzo Gracie
185 lbs.: Kendall Grove vs. Mark Munoz
155 lbs.: Rafael dos Anjos vs. Terry Etim

Right off the bat, I must give props where props are due; excellent work on the poster.  The very well designed, rustic look draws me in almost equal to the fighters on the layout. In this event we have the ever dominating Anderson Silva who as we all know was originally set to face Vitor Belfort, but was later replaced by Demian Maia. To be completely honest, I actually lost quite a bit of excitement when the switch-matchup was announced.

In the main card, we have some pretty great bouts, including another title fight this time for the Lightweight belt with BJ Penn vs Frankie Edgar.  BJ coming forth with tons of motivation after a dominating performance against Diego Sanchez.  I myself am looking forward to the Munoz - Grove fight.  I'd like to see Munoz rise up in the ranks and get closer to the top fights.

Main event:

205 lbs.: Lyoto Machida vs. Mauricio Rua

Main card (Televised):

170 lbs.: Paul Daley vs. Josh Koscheck
265 lbs.: Kevin Ferguson vs. Matt Mitrione
155 lbs.: Jeremy Stephens vs. Sam Stout
185 lbs.: Alan Belcher vs. Patrick Cote

Onto 113 - Now, I realize there's a chance more posters will surface as the event approaches, but this is a ghastly, non-imaginative poster.  I also understand that they're probably banking on the rematch & fighters to do the selling... but damn.  Alright, we get the redux fight between Machida & Rua which should be very interesting considering the commotion resulting from the last meet.  I'm honestly more excited about seeing Daley & Koscheck run their mouths and try to decapitate one another. And who else gets the extra pull seeing Kimbo on this card?

- UFC 114 -

Date: Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 10 p.m. ET on pay-per-view (PPV)
Location: MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada

Main event:

205 lbs.: "Sugar" Rashad Evans vs. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson

Main card (Televised):

205 lbs.: Forrest Griffin vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
185 lbs.: Michael Bisping vs. Dan Miller*
170 lbs.: John Hathaway vs. Diego Sanchez*
170 lbs.: Dong Hyun Kim vs. Amir Sadollah*

This main event was a long time in the making.  Many of us were angered when the news surfaced reporting that the Rampage - Evans fight was null.  But that didn't stop me from watching the switch-matchup of Rashad & Thiago Silva.  Me being a huge TS fan, I kept my eyes peeled for the inevitable knockout.  Finally, in the third round that chance came and Thiago pulled Rashad's foundations.  Regrettably, TS could not seal the deal and forced me to add to the betus.com loser pot.  There was so much talk about that fight not passing the 2nd round and the ticking time bomb of punches held by both fighters.  This time, I'm sure that will be true.
