Power shots landed by Jones: zero...
I’m sure Vera’s face would beg to differ!
Yeah no kidding
That sounded like a power shot to me. Jones is the man! Can’t believe how good he is at such a young age. Sky is the limit for him.
Jones should be fighting a top guy in his next fight. Him fighting Forrest, Bader, Vera and that quality of fighters is a complete waste of time and doesn’t do anything other than running guys out of the division.
there's still something so unifying about sport in it's purest form, when athletes rise above themselves and touch greatness and in doing so remind us all that we also have greatness inside of us.
Disagree...
He still has so much to grow, needs to shore up his defenses and sharpen the blades. I say keep feeding him these guys and get him solid ring time. I wanna see him fight every 8-12 weeks. If the Jones of yesterday was fighting shogun for example he would have gotten defly armbarred. But if he got all those solid times, then can you imagine the kind of polish he will have by the time he gets to the Shoguns and Lil Nogs of the world. Then it’s gonna be a pleasure to watch him dominate the division. I say who care about running guys out of a division. Eventually new challengers will arise.

yeah, maybe so. I won’t be putting down any money on his opponents, he’ll beat Forrest, Thiago, Bader, Randy and these guys relatively easy.

Agree Roberto
i would like to see him face a T.Silva or Bader even. It’s pointless for him to fight near or sub top ten fighters he needs to be facing top 8 guys at least right now.

I would like to see Jones fight Anderson Silva in about a year.
Give Jones a year to demolish a few top 5 LHWs. Then put him against Anderson Silva. Jones and A. Silva are on a higher level. That would be the only real test I can imagine for both fighters.
I always consider all these stats to be suspect, can’t tell you how many times i’ve read a fightmetric report and thought to myself what fight were they scoring.
jones's power is amazing
he simply punks other fighters. his power from inside th guard makes him as dangerous on the ground as lesner.

No broken face percentage?
But a true champion, face to face with his darkest hour, will do whatever it takes to rise above. A man fights, and fights, and then fights some more. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies. - Kenny Powers
