Shields bread and butter is wrestling! He is not out wrestling Hendo. He was barely able to do anything with Miller. He held on like a cowboy riding out a victory. Hendo is way more acomplished as a wreslter, and would be amazed if he secures any takedowns. That leaves him standing up! Where he will eat an overhand right and crumple like Port au Prince!

Hendo is obviously the favorite for good reason with that said Shields is massively underrated hes a WW whos stepped up his competition by moving up to MW and has done real well Hendo is not nearly as good on the ground as Miller is so if he finds himself on his back it will be bad period. Hendo is definitely the man and ill be rooting for him but if Shields takes it i wont be mad at all i like shields but i loove Hendo especially after the beautiful KO of Bisping i mean damn that was niiiice never can get enough of it!

so his striking isnt as good as Dans big deal, Dan isnt the best striker out there either. His wrestling skill opens the door for him to strike, guys are worried about getting taken down and the WAM comes the overhand. This fight could go either way, I hope Jake wins the fight and signs with the UFC, he is good enough to be there!

this is getting ridiculous…kos and fitch wont fight each other…now shields comes to the ufc and he wont fight them either…so now we have a 4th person added to the kos,fitch,swick trifecta that wont fight….not that anyone gives a fuck about swick anymore..

shields losing to dan isnt really gonna hurts his stock since hes really a ww anyway…i mean come on, he was fighting at 170 and hes now fighting a guy who was fighting at 205…so they were at a 30 pound difference 2 years ago in their careers so it doesnt really hurt him losing to dan

hes coming to the ufc regardless…since he wont fight the triplets he might as well fight their common opponent, paulo thiago…would be a great match up…

god i fucking hate jake shields, i hate that guy so bad….i cant express to you the hatred i have for this guy….i would rather run into a daycare with a chainsaw and do toddler beheadings than even look at this guy….

but most of my hatred stems from the fact that he is so highly rated but never beaten a highly rated guy….so if he came to the ufc and started beating top guys my hatred would slowly diminish….but now that i know he wont even fight 2 of the top 5 guys in the division it makes my hatred for him grow….

i mean if he walked into the ufc and took his first fight with koscheck, beat him and then beat thiago alves or fitch…i would be like….“holy shit….ive just been converted to a shields nuthugger, bring on gsp” but if hes gonna choose to take on the marcus davis’s of the division on his way to a title shot then bring out the chainsaw and take me to a daycare
