I knew it!

Add Rashad to the list of insiders who says Anderson walks around at 230!

Anderson is as big as Fedor, Rampage, and Couture, and closer in size to JDS, Nog, Gonzo, and Cain than he is to GSP. I wish people would quit talking about GSP/Silva. That’s like expecting BJ to fight Shogun. I got no problems with GSP fighting true MWs, but he shouldn’t have to fight guys that are cutting from HW.

Uhm...it happened, sorta

Actually, BJ Penn fought Lyoto Machida a few years back (and lost).

The thing with the GSP/Silva fight isn’t that it wouldn’t be “fair” because of the size diferential, is that GSP has said in more than one interview that if he goes up in weight he’ll do it right (not the way BJ did it for the Lyoto fight), and he’ll stay at 185, because he’d spend a year building up muscle to get to at least 200lb so he could fight competitively at 185.

I rather watch him kicking ass at 170 than at 185, ‘cause there’s better competition at 170 than at 185, and he is too small to go to 205 and be competitive there.
