Poll: UFC on VS FotN

Simple. Vote on who you think will win Fight of the Night this Sunday. Feel free to post your KO and Sub of the Night predictions in the comments section below. Some good candidates for FotN are Jones/Vera, Kongo/Buentello, Guida/Gugerty, and possibly JDS/Gonzo. KotN favorites would appear to be Jones/Vera, JDS, Kongo/Buentello, Sakara/Irvin, and even Schuab. SotN could go to Gonzo or Schafer, or even Vera.
For myself, I think the most obvious choice for Fight of the Night will be the main event between Jonny Bones and Brandon Vera. The KO of the Night could go to JDS or the Kongo/Buentello fight, and the Sub of the Night could go to Gonzaga, if he manages to tap JDS.

It's hard to say but if there were betting odds I bet the Vera and Jones was the favourite

i stated i took irvin/sakara i was just kinda shocked noone picked ludwig lol,
i picked based on what i wanted to see most because predicting fotn is impossible sometimes dana just gives it to guys he wanted to not who should have gotten it

Brandon Vera makes me laugh
Watching the countdown show, I couldn’t stop laughing every time Vera talked about himself. He really has a bloated opinion of his place in the UFC.
Is he not aware that his last ‘serious’ win was in 2006, and that was against a broken down Frank Mir?
Does he not know that he’s 3-4 since then? (2 decisions over Reese Andy and Krystof Szosodorkiejddd, and a TKO over Mike “who?” Patt).
But shit, we all know what will happen. Bones will win, but Vera will continue to get the Dana White Gift Bag simply because he’s Phillipino.

yeah, I used to hate Vera for that
but he seemed so humble and mature going in to the Couture fight that I had to recant. If he’s talkin smack again, I’ll just laugh. But I do think he’ll be the toughest fight Jones has had to date. His greco may save him from Bones’ judo (maybe) and his muy thai will test the legitimacy of Bones’ unorthodoxy. If I had to put money on it, I’d bet that Bones’ wins the day with his aggression, but he’ll have to grow up some in this fight and not be as reckless.
