Yep, Going to buy UFC 2010
Going to rent EA to try it and I would have to be BLOWN away to buy it. Can’t get behind a company that just a few years ago said MMA wasn’t a sport. Also, later 2010means it will be out early 2011 lol.

i dont like when nick diaz knocks out scott smith. the way smith falls is retarded. its like ps2 ko’s. other than that game looks ok to me. still buying ufc 2010 which i think will be a better game. but am also buying this too
I’m biased. The UFC is better than Strikeforce. While, I love EA Sports, I’ve got to believe the fact THQ has 1 game under it’s belt to build from and create a better game. Both games are going to have a good roster, with the edge going to UFC, of course.
In the end, I think they’re going to end up being fairly different. I’ll buy UFC Undisputed 2010. May also buy EA Sports MMA, but not sure on that one.
Number of copies sold wont even be close. UFC will blow EA out of the water.
like you said ur bias towards the ufc. i train mma and am a fan of all mma not just ufc and strikeforce. so ill give anything a shot when it comes to the video game market or even ppv market. if its mma related than it has my attention

Yeah but THQ have a basis to work off. EA’s looks like shit rite now and I just don’t think they can accurately mimic mma controls without making it feel like a fight night or like they slightly tweeked ufc 09

good games > mediocre games
the last undisputed was so mediocre. the stand up was so stiff and the ground game was very bland. I trust a sports game company that makes fight night much more than a company that makes nickelodeon and pro-wrestling games.

Looks like EA are going to have better gameplay, I really like the idea of using the analogue stick for striking. Hopefully it will work as well in this game as it did for Fight Night. I’ll be buying both but so far EA MMA looks the more fun to play.

Def looks better than UFC 09 did. The Gameplay looks VERY VERY SMOOTH… And the change of Arenas are another plus. RING RING RING lets go great era for MMA games lets see what UFC 10 can do.

I'm addicted to UFC undisputed...
But no word of a lie…this game absolutely spanks it. It looks better graphically, more realistic guard and striking. Also i’ve read you don’t just click a button and clinch…you have to fight for it. Each fighter is also custom made, they all fight like they do as close to life as possible, Diaz walks around with his hands wide and forward, brett rogers with his lumbering 1-2 strikes, fedor bounces on his toes…this looks incredible!

Looks like a good start....
I think UFC 2010 should be better than EA. If not I would be terribly disappointed because this is their second time coming. However, would not be surprised if EA picks it up a notch with second under their belt. They have experience at doing sports games and have the mechanics down in their other sports games.
Yes, THQ has made a few wrestling games. But I have not been too impressed with most of them. Arms going through heads and stupid glitches like that. They have gotten better, but how many have they done?

Most of the WWE games made by THQ are worth buying for the content rather than the gameplay. EA produce much better sports games and have already made some superb boxing games so they’re not going into this project blind. Whilst THQ have the rights to the top fighters I think that the gameplay itself will not be as good as that of EA MMA.
