seriously though i would want to see Frank beat Brock if he gets by Carwin here. He’s a good guy and is really good at selling fights.

In the video game or in reality? In last years game he was the best ranked heavyweight on the rooster. Brock would probably hold that mantle now. Carwin has a good chance of pulling up the upset. Fight I am most intrigued about is Valasquez vs Brock if that happens

I didn't say he'd never lose
but think about the upper end of the HW division, Frank has nothing for him, Brock’s top control is excellent… I don’t think Carwin will get past Mir, Cain Velasquez is like Brock except 40 lbs lighter. JDS is the one to watch, but there are alot of questions that need to be answered of him with TDD, ground game etc. I think Brock has this belt atleast another 2-3 fights.

The threads will start to thicken with guys like Puck who can actually beat off 4x a day to Brock (kinda impressive), so it makes sense why he gets so irate that this is happening riiight in front of hik eyes. As long as we post all our Brock thread posts with similarities that are easy to recognize we can swarm a thread. But this group is not for pussys. We’ll be getting bombarded, so we have to stick together.

But I figure come Brock/Mir 3 time, and any other Brock fight time, we start all our headlines with ABM so its in bold and we know where to go on threads to meet and form a wall. Cause its gonna be the toughest underdog thread group out there.

Mir didn’t start shit talking just so Cain didn’t leap frog him. I’m pretty sure what he said was that he was staying focused on Carwin so he doesn’t get leap frogged by Cain or Nog for a title shot with Brock. Otherwise he didn’t know how long it may take to get the next shot at Brock.
No WWE action here, and if you want to pick on Mir just because he said a few things, then I’m sure you can recall the list of fighters that came out that have said similar just in the past year.

nobody is commenting about what was said about Tito hurting his shoulder and out with Ace stepping in. I thought this was BS, Have I missed something? This is the only place I go on line to keep up with whats goin on and I swear I thought this already proven not be true. Tito having the flu and Jenna having a miscarriage or something. Haha I must admit I had a great time watching this. Mir was not Mir-ish mostly and came across as kinda normal. (except at the end about Brock being a Moby-Dick)
Can’t wait for the Carwin fight. I still think Carwin can take it, but having my doubts at this point. Frank’s plan as described is exactly what you need to defeat Carwin (probably).
I liked how Frank Mir talks about missing punches as a big man and how it can affect you. Kinda cool perspective.

As much of a ass as Mir is he’s a smart guy and the comments were to keep him relevant like I thought. Carwin is a mystery and hard fighter to train for by anybody. Every fight in the first round!! Yeah they might not of been to great of fighters but even the top fighters have had some issues with lower ranked fighters and have at least went in to round two? I agree with Mir that he will be able to most likely out strike Carwin standing but can he take a Carwin punch, can Carwin connect with a punch, if carwin gets on top is Mirs Jj enough? I cant wait for this fight and the Fitch vs Alves fight, and topped with a GSP Hardy fight!!!

The thing with Carwin though is he is improving and never been really tested
It’s what makes it so hard in picking this fight. The experience of Mi,r as Mir has got his sh^t together and is looking at his best ever. But Carwin on the other hand is a unkown on how will do as we have never seen him really tested? He might fail but he also might be a great competitior?

Beefed up, good cardio Frank = unstoppable
Now that Frank Mir is putting on some good quality mass and is doing some good strength and conditioning program maybe he wont gas out 2 min into the first round. Also with his striking technique improving greatly coupled with his new power he can start KOing people like he almost did with Congo. If Carwin takes the shots he took against Gonzaga coming from Mir i see him taking a nap.

Carwin will be improved, will it be enough? I don’t know I like Carwins style he may be a little slow but if he learns to move his head more and avoid damage he can make up for it in power no doubt.
