Ryan Bader, CB Dollaway and Aaron Simpson abruptly leave Arizona Combat Sports
UFC fighters and former Arizona State wrestling standouts, Ryan Bader, CB Dollaway and Aaron Simpson have left Arizona Combat Sports. With the departure, the three now count themselves among the high-profile fighters who have trained at one point or another at the Tempe, Ariz.-based gym: Joe Riggs, Drew Fickett, Carlos Condit, and TUF 7 alum, Matt Riddle, are some of the former members of ACS.
According to MMAmadness.com (via Bloody Elbow)
The move by the three UFC competitors and Arizona State alums comes at a curious time as all are coming off the biggest wins of their careers. Bader defeated Keith Jardine via third round TKO at UFC 110, Dolloway took home a unanimous decision that same night against Goran Reljic and Simpson defeated Tom Lawlor at UFC Fight Night 20 in January.
No information has surfaced regarding the destination of the three fighters or the reasons for their leaving the longtime training ground.
Perhaps Bader, Dollaway, and Simpson have felt the need to seek a greener pasture in order to elevate their game to a new level. If so, their decision is commendable, as they refuse to become complacent with their recent victories. Despite possessing strong wrestling foundation, they all have weaknesses that must be fortified in order to achieve success at the highest level.
The question is, where will they defect to? Which gym will have the room to accommodate three fighters who have the potential to make some waves in their respective divisions, without posing the dilemma of possible teammate battles that have become common at high-profile gyms?

I was just reading this on a different site. Anyone know why they are all leaving, where they will go?

Maybe AZcombatsports can tell us why....
He posts on here quite often and I believe trains there. Not ssssure if it is a private matter or what, but hopefully he can give us some inside scoop. AmericanTop Team maybe a good place for them to go. They can help the strikers and bjj guys with their wrestling base. Guys like Alves could benefit big time from that. Even Team Wand could be a good comingling of the skill sets….

I have a feeling that Bader will be joining the Jackson team.
Just a gut feeling.

considering dollaway, and bader were teammates of cain v in college and you see the progress he has made in the standup i would say its highly likely that there old coach aaron simpson, and those 2 will join cain at aka

Weird that these 3 have left ACS together, oh well at least that will end Goldie's constant plugs of the camp in their fights
Last time there was a mass exodus from a camp like this was when Juanito was caught ripping off Rampage so I have a feeling that something shady like that went down for all 3 of these guys to leave ACS. It must be big for them all to leave anyway.
Good call on them going to AKA because of the Cain connection, that should do all 3 of these guys a lot of good and would make AKA the premier camp for wrestlers.
