BREAKING NEWS: James Toney First TV Interview On HDnet Friday!

James Toney has the trash talk aspect of MMA figured out from his days as a boxer. Now he just has to figure out the fighting part of MMA. Forget the warm up fight, Toney is setting his sights on Brock Lesnar, according to what he says on the next episode of Inside MMA.

The UFC’s newest fighter, former boxing champion James Toney joins another former boxing champion, Ray Mercer and KJ Noons on the panel with Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten as they discuss boxing’s influence on MMA. Reporter Ron Kruck also talks to world renowned boxing trainer Freddie Roach.

with a name like drew money i thought you would wager on mma. if you don't that is fine....

but i live in nevada where i can make money wagering on mma. nevada has been putting out moneylines on fights for the last four or five years. that would mean anywhere from half the card to all of the card (prelimninary fights)at a ufc event ppv.

i thought you meant we would profit off him being in ufc, not off of betting on him in the ufc. im on board 100% wioth your theory, they want him to win before he loses but i still want to wait to see who they pair him up with before i get to excited…. tell me which of these guys you would bet on toney over…

i personally feel they might pick someone who already has a fight announced so we wont know for a while, may not see him fight till the summer. i think the july 4th card would be perfect unless they have a ppv bonus in his contract in which case they’ll put him on a ppv with a bad card, not one brock might be on….

i would only worry about struve

not that struve dosnt have what it takes, if he gets him to the ground its over, i just wouldnt have the confidence to bet on struve especially if he (struve) was the favorite…
