right now it has been over 1 calender year since he has fought!
and he only has 3 fights in the ufc!!!

I knew he was out a nice while, but didn’t realize it had been a year. I’m hoping he still wins(tho I don’t think he will, but with a dude who can throw bombs like he can, anything can happen..) I don’t want to see another Lesnar/Mir fight.. If Mir wins then 50% of Lesnar’s pro fights will be against Mir.. I wanna see something new..

Blame Brock
That’s not his fault Brock backed out of the fight. And 3 fights in the UFC was enough to get Brock a title shot. At least Carwin’s 3 fights are wins. Brock got a shot with a 2-1 record. So what’s your point?

so what? that's not an argument.
He beat them because he got a shot at them, 99% of the other fighters do not get a title shot like that after going 1-1 with a guy and then beating a mid level guy.
Junior and Cain are more worthy of a title shot than any of these guys including Brock.
there's still something so unifying about sport in it's purest form, when athletes rise above themselves and touch greatness and in doing so remind us all that we also have greatness inside of us.

Just stating facts. I agree with you that he beat them because he got the shot & I also wish it was cain or jds fighting for the title instead of the fighter with a 3-1 record , But this isnt how the ufc works.

It has gotten crazy on here lately aye? I can believe some of the crap I see now! Thank God there are still some regulars that are posting. I have not been able to post and get to mania as much as I would like to lately, but it almost seems like I am not missing to much, lol. Well regardless of what the troll police have to say, I think anyone who has been here longer then a few days would realize that you generally have good posts, even though they disagree with mine, 80% of the time =)~ ..

will make a lot of difference when they fight. Mir may well have fought more, but when you take a look at his fights, a quick beatdown by Brock, Nog being a human punchbag and not even throwing a punch, and the Kongo fight taking less time than Buffers ring anouncement, it should all really come down to the training as well as who probably has the hardest chin. I’m hoping Carwin does it, I find Mir annoying, and as good as his wins were against Nog and Kongo, their less than mediocre performances could not tell me if Mir has really improved, or if he is still the overated fighter I always thought he was. Hopefully Carwin will show us what Mirs really made of.

NOOO!!!! hopefully he got this a while back. anyone who has gotten some ink done knows that you can’t roll for 2 weeks after getting a tattoo (depending on placement.) the tattoo can tear if it gets grabbed, squeezed, pulled, punched…
