It is currently scheduled to air LIVE right here on MMAmania.com, as well as on several other online destinations, via streaming video. The first fighter is expected to tip the scale at 6 p.m. ET.
As usual, MMAmania.com will provide the latest coverage of the UFC on Versus weigh-ins, as well as provide a detailed recap of the festivities as soon as they conclude.
"Vera vs. Jones" is set to feature a fantastic main event between dynamic light heavyweight strikers Brandon "The Truth" Vera and Jon "Bones" Jones in a 205-pound clash that could be Jones' coming out party -- if he manages to finish the former heavyweight.
A win may even have him in the running for the next light heavyweight title shot.
Also looking to bully their way into title contention is surging heavyweight prospect Junior "Cigano" dos Santos, as he looks to pass what could be his final test against fellow Brazilian Gabriel "Napao" Gonzaga.
Here’s the current UFC on Versus fight card:

Vera will get destroyed
And hopefully be put on the undercard where he belongs..
Anyone else find it a bit disgusting how he’s the main event AGAIN after LOSING and looking horrible against Couture(who also looked horrible but thats beside the point)?
Its funny how people bring up how “good” Veras standup is when he got beat by Jardine and Werdum standing up, lol.
Oh yeah, maybe its because he got that awesome finish over Mike Patt… the current #p4p fighter in the world.

ease up a bit lester
Vera’s a solid fighter, good mui tai, good wrestling, and solid jitz.
Too bad I picked him in the pool becuase I know wish I would have gone with Bones with his unorthadox strikes, throwes, and insane monkey arms!!

20th is a Saturday...
Not sure if everyone noticed that the usual fri/sat – weigh in/fights isnt being used for the upcoming show
The 21st is a Sunday…making the weigh ins on Sat.
How is Jon Jones not on Vera's level?
I think you’re giving Vera too much credit. Who exactly who has Vera beaten in the LHW division?
……..
Waiting
Exactly. And against that level of competition he should be destroying them if he is so good, yet he’s only finished one guy at LHW out of the three he has won.
Thats what im trying to tell people
But everyone seems to be in denial about Vera and how he really is just an average (at best) fighter.

Question about Q&A's
If you belong to the UFC fight club can you take a non fightclub member to the Q&A’s with you?
Bones is going to embarrass Vera!!!
Fellas, Bones is the taller (reach), stronger (bigger), & more explosive fighter… He’s had better training partners… Bones will have a master game planner in his korner (Jackson)… Vera only has a punchers khance, but be it a small khance given his lack of power at LHW… Bones by GNP KO mid 2nd round…
