I swear I saw him in the last season. I’m sure Dana said he had to do that in order to be a part of the UFC.

he did lose on the show and he still got into the UFC.
once Kimbo and Dana decided to do the show he was already in.

Like you said, he stayed there the whole season and went through it.
He could have not accepted Danas challenge and went directly to Strikeforce if he wanted to. We havent seen Kimbo in a while so Its not like Dana is taking advantage of him and putting him on every UFC card as a main event fight.
To Felix: Its not like he lost to a total can. More like the winner of TUF so there nothing be ashamed of. Plus he brings in a lot of people. It would be stupid to let him go while strikeforce is alive. Like I said, Hes not being used like you think he is.

im not hating on kimbo
he wanted to get into the UFC, so ofcourse he’s gonna go on the show. but lets be real, Dana’s a business man. Kimbo brings in alot of money, and before he was on TUF he was bringing in money for Dana’s competition, so ofcourse Dana’s gonna say “Kimbo sucks”. How many times did Dana talk shit about Kimbo? ALL THE TIME. After coming off a fight where Kimbo gets ko’d with a jab, Dana creates a season of TUF just for Kimbo – yes he did. Kimbo doesn’t win his fight (fine, it was against Big Country), but he still gets on the finale. There was more Kimbo advertising than Big Country for the show. he wins a decision against a Houston who got cut right after for having a shitty gameplan. Now we get Kimbo action figures. Ofcourse it;s hypocritical, but it’s business.

Why would he want to make less money?
I’m sure he would have made a lot more money in Strikeforce. His paycheck will always be the same cause he probably won’t be able to beat the top guys in the division.
With that in mind, he accepted the challenge anyways cause he wanted to prove that he is a serious fighter and is willing to put on a show for the UFC.
Dana said he sucks and he was right cause he wont beat the top guys. He will put on a show but only when the opponent is willing to fight.
You have no proof that TUF 10 was created just for him. It was about time for another season and it had some athletes coming over from another sport, Football. One solid point is that they would never have created TUF 10 just for him cause they knew that he wouldn’t last very long.
I will agree that his name was used to expose the TUF brand to a bigger audience. That’s only good business.
I seriously don’t remember seeing that much advertising on Kimbo for the Finale.
I remember seeing, “Also Kimbo vs Houston Alexander”
That doesn’t seem like a lot of Kimbo ads.
I’ll say this one more time so you can absorb it, He is not being used as much as you thing he is. I would have agreed if he was headlining every other UFC card.
I already got my point across in my previous post but you had to backtrack and include some new ones. :-|
