Aldo by decision…

Aldo via TKO
Faber will lose in his hometown once again. How sad.

Faber will be "California Dreamin'" after Aldo puts him to sleep.
Jose by vicious TKO!!!!

So next time FEDOR is kicking your ass, don't be offended or hurt, he may be just trying to tell you he likes your hat.
i like aldo's potential..
he doesn’t believe his own hype, he is humble but a wicked…good trait in a fighter..and does anyone know what caused that scar on aldo’s face, out of plain curiosity..
As a child a highly skilled, highly trained team of Ninja's killed his family
He was the only survivor, the scar a constant reminder of everything he’s lost; he began his instruction in Kung Fu as soon as he was of age and soon became the WEC featherweight Champion. Once he feels his skills have been tuned and honed to perfection inside the cage he will take his long awaited revenge on the Ninja clan that murdered his family and gave him that horrible scar.

lol o damn..
i have a friend with the same scar..but he got his by almost losing his head in a car accident..but your story is way cooler.
SCAR
Its strictly a guess, but I’ve seen/heard of more than one case when a kid who is in a gang (or won’t join a gang), is held down and given a permanent ‘smile’ so he has a reminder of what happened everytime he looks in the mirror.
A knife inside the mouth and one quick pull. Some gangs used this as a trademark.
Again, I’m not saying this is for sure. Just something I’ve been made aware of from documentaries etc.

Here, I found the real deal on the Scar issue..
WEC: “Forgive my forwardness, but the scar on the left side of your face, how did you acquire it?”
Aldo: “I don’t mind explaining where I got the scar. I was just a baby and my mom wasn’t paying attention for a moment when my sisters rolled me onto the barbecue pit being used for a 1986 World Cup party.”

Aldo is a Beast
and as much as Urijah made the WEC what it is today and as much as I like to watch him fight…. Aldo is the future
Just doesn't feel right shelling out $45 bucks for a WEC card yet..

Come on now
15 bucks difference really bothers you? I hope you didn’t buy 109 because this card is gonna blow 109 out of the water. Not only am I gonna buy this card. I will probably be watching it alone because all my friends are same way you are. “It’s not worth 45 bucks” blah blah blah. Come on guys help the sport grow
I made 10 grand on mmaplayground in 2 UFC shows so don't question me
No I Feel that
But even though Affliction was loaded with top names I didnt like paying 50+ for it. Look the WEC is exciting and I love it. I would just like to see progression, and if they charge all that then its similar to price gouging. The UFC needs to set that price to pay for a higher payroll then the WEC. First year 29.95, next year 39.95 and then 49.95 isnt such a bad thing. More people will buy it realistically at 30 bucks then 50 so why not get more volume?

I'd pay to get
Your lucky u even have the option I’d pay the money to see Aldo smash Faber, we can’t get Wec live over here
by irishlilpete on Feb 9, 2010 3:58 PM EST via mobile up reply actions
The WEC
has had some of the best cards I have ever seen. So they do deserve more money and all that blah… but its a slow process no need to make a organization crumble. (Affliction)
by AintNoSunshine on Feb 9, 2010 4:04 PM EST up reply actions
You are right. I think the UFC is making this out to be their swan song. If it does tank I think the UFC will absorb the lighter weight classes. If this does happen the WEC we love will be no more. Replaced by the new WEC which would be the minor leagues
I made 10 grand on mmaplayground in 2 UFC shows so don't question me
I compare the wec to sex,
I have been getting sex for free my whole life, and know i am asked to start paying for it? No thank u will do someome who wont charge me , i wil be much better maybe, Stikeforce !!!!!!!!
Too many UFC ppv's to throw cash on WEC too
Not only that but I’m just a fan of the heavier weight class’s; Aldo/Torres/Faber are great, but I’d pay for a GSP/Penn/A. Silva/SHOGUN/Lesnar fight over any of them. And the WEC 155 lbs weight class is entertaining but it’s 2nd rate; you know Varner, Henderson and Cerrone can’t touch Penn or Kenny and they’d be 50/50 against Joe Daddy, Gray Maynard, Frank Edgar, Tyson Griffin, Sherk, Gomi, Guida etc..

by O damn he got caught on Feb 9, 2010 4:08 PM EST up reply actions
so they're second rate but
they’re 50/50 amongst everyone else who isnt top 3 in the world. that doesn’t make much sense. You are probably a bigger guy and are embarrassed that somebody the size of torres can beat you up. just saying.
LMAO
Me being beaten by a professional fighter that’s considered top 10 in the world is not something to be embarrassed about; please don’t pull garbage out of your ass just because you disagree. I didn’t say the 145/135 lbs weight classes were second rate; I said their 155 lbs class is; why do you feel the need to take what I said and blow it out of context?
And yea, they’re 50/50 out of all the other orgs in the world; and I don’t buy their PPV’s either unless I got some extra cash laying around. Sorry I’m not made of money like you seem to be.

Well, yea.
If it were free of course I watch, but to pay that for it is just crazy…..or should I say PSYCHO!
Still pissed that this is going to be PPV
UFC is putting on 6 PPVs in 4 months, and then they expect us to shell out another $45 for the WEC? Way to stick it to the fans Zuffa!

He can’t beat Brown let alone Aldo.

Stylistically Faber matches up the best with Aldo
And he could’ve beaten Brown in the second fight if he hadn’t broke his hand; he was landing some nice elbows from the stand up position; probably the most elbows I’ve seen anyone tagged with standing up and going toe to toe.

Hmm
I think he could beat brown, but I think Aldo strikes on another level. Maybe on the ground he is weak… that’s the chance Faber has.

They have all the respect for one another!
Faber is a brawler but Aldo has a better technique to win this fight.
