Reminder: Sacramento Kings to host 'Urijah Faber Night' tonight (Feb. 23)

The Sacramento Kings will pay tribute to former WEC Featherweight Champion and local fight favorite Urijah Faber with a special night planned in his honor tonight (Feb. 23) when the Kings host the Detroit Pistons at the ARCO Arena.

Fans who purchase two tickets (minimum value $40.50) will receive a free Urijah Faber "Form Athletics" hoodie with the first 500 to be signed by "The California Kid" himself.

From Faber:

"I am a huge Kings fan and so excited about this new, young team we have in Sacramento. I’m pumped to be a part of this special night with the Kings and hope all Kings and WEC fans will join us at ARCO for this fun event."

Faber will try to reclaim his 145-pound title from the seemingly invincible Jose Aldo when the two stars collide in Sacramento on April 24 in the first ever pay-per-view event from the WEC.

Ya wonder why this ‘Cali Kid’ is the most popular? Geez wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact that he gets to fight at home EVERYTIME win or lose eh?

I’m not saying they have to fight in Aldo’s home town, but should the champ really always be booed when they win or defend their belt cause they gotta fight where Faber is the hometown boy? Give me a break.

Hahaha! True dat...

But in a couple of years, they could be back. They have the guard version of LeBron James in Tyreke Evans. A 19/20 yr old in a 30 year old body who seems like he’s been in the league for 10 seasons.

Think about how dumb the average person is, then realize that half of them are even dumber than that.
